Lilly May Drummond, 94, of Trimble, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker and a member of Trimble First Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Oakley officiating. Burial will be in Pierce Cemetery in Trimble.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Stafford of Trimble; a son, Danny Ray Clanton of Kenton; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Clanton; two sons, Franklin Clanton and Jerry Clanton; and her parents, Wakeo and Minnie Shelton.
Pallbearers will be Tracy Clanton, Brian Clanton, Shane Stafford, Matt Stafford, Joe Clanton, Chance Clanton, Cole Clanton, Chase Clanton and Justin Pope. Honorary pallbearer will be Randy Moore.
Billy Ray Lowery, 78, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.
He was retired owner of Lowery's Body Shop & Wrecker Service, a member of Phillips Street Church of Christ, member of Forked Deere Antique Car Club and an avid outdoorsman.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Fairview Cemetery with Bro. Tom Bright officiating.
The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Hellen Lowery; a daughter, Jayne Haddock and husband, David, of Lenox; two sons, Danny Lowery and wife, Jennifer and Ricky Lowery and wife, Janice, all of Dyersburg; four sisters, Dot Hollomon and Frances Slaughter, both of Dyersburg, Patty Jeffries of Germantown and Betty Swims of Jackson; a brother, Ted Lowery of Jackson; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and a step-great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Lucy Lowery; a sister, Imogene Butcher; two brothers, James Lowery and Sammy Lowery; and a granddaughter, Suzanne Lowery.
Pallbearers will be David Lowery, Ben Lowery, Josh Lowery, Jake Haddock, John Haddock and Hunter Lowery.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
Wanda Faye Murphy, 59, of Cordova, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at her residence.
She was a retired floral designer with Memphis Floral and a member of Mount Tirzah Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen Stoner officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at 5:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Murphy of Cordova; two daughters, Sabrina Murphy of Memphis and Rhonda Murphy of Oakland; four sisters, Glenda Whaley of Collierville, Grace Gurganus of Memphis, Joan Moore of Caseyville, Ill. and Margaret Ellis of Oakland; and a brother, Mark Moore of Brandon, Miss.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margaret Moore; and two brothers, Bobby Moore and Jody Moore.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Barrineau, J.J. Glover, Todd Tweedy, Jeff Moore, Keith Moore and Nathan Burns.
