Kenneth Lloyd Beal, 72, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Tiptonville, died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at his residence.

He was a retired construction worker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Burial will be in Keefe Cemetery at a later date.

The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include two daughters, Di Ronda Lynn Beal of Tucson, Ariz. and Varonica Lee Beal of Hollywood, Fla.; two sisters, Sharon Hayes of Ridgely and Kathy Slaughter of Bartlett; a brother, Wilson Beal of Greenfield; three grandchildren, Sean Beal, Alicia Maldonado and Laura Van Name; and a great-grandchild, Thessaly Mitchell.

He was preceded in death by a son, Carl Lawrence Beal; and his parents, Alston and Earline Beal.

Robert Allen "Bob" Zarecor, 90, of Yorkville, died Monday, June 8, 2009 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Bob lived his entire life in the Yorkville Community with the exception of the 52 months he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was affectionately known as "Pop" to his grandchildren and many others. He was a member of the Yorkville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where he served as an elder for many years.

Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at the church. The family will receive visitors at 9 a.m. at the church. Officiating the service will be Rev. Chris Marks and Rev. Tommy Jowers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances McKnight; his parents, Allen and Amma Zarecor; two brothers, George Zarecor and Jack Zarecor; and two sisters, Evelyn Austin and Sara Dunagan Sowell.

His survivors are daughter, Barbara Turner and husband, Jim, sons, Mack Zarecor and wife, Tammy and Don Zarecor and wife, Laura, all of Yorkville. He leaves eight grandchildren, Janelle Ranieri and husband, John, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Jason Turner and wife, Beth, of Trenton, Jamie Ary and husband, Rob, of Goodlettsville, Josh Tuner, Will Zarecor and Andy, Chad and Kaitlyn Zarecor, all of Yorkville; and three great-grandchildren, Lucy and John Ranieri and Madelyn Ary.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be directed to the Yorkville Cumberland Presbyterian Church Building fund, PO Box 222, Yorkville, TN or a favorite charity.

Pallbearers will be Bill Zarecor, Ray Scott, Johnny Hendricks, David Dennison, Mike Roberts, Franklin Pope, James Fisk and Robert Galloway.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mac Carr, O'Guinn Moore, Farris Austin, Jim Payne, Joe Pope, Henry Farrar and members of the Character Builders Sunday School Class of Yorkville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
