Residents at Canterbury Place in Dyersburg got a thrill when they had animal day at their community center.
Keith and Melanie Myers, of Bonicord, own Myers Farms and were gracious enough to bring some of their animals to show the residents.
The Myers brought a goat, rabbits, a stepstool gosling, a North American lion-head rabbit, a roen duck and a turkey chick for the residents to see and feel.

They told what each animal was and explained their habits. The residents got to ask questions and pet the animals.
Canterbury Place Activities Coordinator Janet Colvin said the interaction with the animals was good outside stimulation for the residents.
"They just loved the animals," said Colvin.
