Obituaries for June 25, 2009

Marrion Bearden Markham, 76, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

She was retired from Dyersburg Fabrics and a 40-year member of West Dyersburg Church of Christ.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Crawford and Bro. Glen Burse officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Markham of Dyersburg; two daughters, Jeanette Markham Hannah of Dyersburg and Rachel Jernigan of Jackson; a son, Joe Markham and wife, Dana, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; three grandchildren, Jarod Markham of Dyersburg and Allie Markham of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and their mother, Mary Markham of Dyersburg, and Lynette Hollandsworth of Dyersburg; three step-grandchildren, Darryl Conway of Washington, D.C., and James Conway and Will Conway, both of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelby Markham Palmer; a son, Kenneth Larry Markham; her parents, and two brothers.

Pallbearers will be Jarod Markham, Larry Bell, Allen Cook, Ray Markham, Danny Markham, Bill Markham and Jack Markham.
