Thomas Arledge Gibson, 79, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at his residence.
He was a retired supervisor of Inland Steel in East Chicago, Ind. for 37 years and a member of Newbern Assembly of God Church.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Palestine Cemetery with Pastor Lyndel Fisher officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Vera Fay Gibson of Dyersburg; five daughters, Sylvia Martin of Wesson, Miss., Terry Douglas of Dyersburg, Barbara Cavalier of Lake Station, Ind., Jenny Gibson of California and Patricia Vinable of Williamsburg, Va.; four sons, Bruce Gibson of Dyersburg, Rodger Gibson of Portage, Ind., Michael Gibson and Tommy Gibson of Valparaiso, Ind.; a sister, Christine Freno of Alabama; a brother, Raymond Gibson of Hobart, Ind.; 70 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Thelma Gibson.
Pallbearers will be Jason Martin, Matthew Douglas, Jeremy Dick, Shawn Maggio, Joshua Dick and John Martin.
Virginia L. Reeves, 84, of Harrisville, Mo. died Saturday, June 27, 2009 at her daughter's residence. She was a retired box maker. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with the Reverend Charlie Halliburton officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Curry Funeral Home.
Survivors include three daughters, Janet Breaux of Kenner, LA, Anna Hurst of Ogdensburg, NY, and Tina Torres of Harrisville, MO; one son, Theo Reeves of Dyersburg, TN; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Reeves; a daughter, Leslie Sue Reeves; two sons, Steven Reeves and Kenneth Reeves; her parents, Robert Burnie and Amna Luckett Nichols; two sisters, Rebecca Mathis and Patty Sasseen; and a brother, Roy Nichols.
Pallbearers will be Adam Reeves, Joe Henson, Melvin Henson, Steven Richards, Richie Petty and Jerry Sisk.

Donald Westfall, 66, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at his residence.
He was a retired employee of Illinois Tool Works in Jackson, former employee of the tool and dye department of Heckethorn Manufacturing, enjoyed motorcycling and was a Baptist.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynn Drumwright and the Rev. Dan Leggett officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at 5:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Treva Westfall of Dyersburg; three daughters, Teresa Schafer and husband, Ron, of Denton, N.C., Mary Marshall and husband, Walt and Edith Johnson and husband, Pete, all of Cleveland, Ohio; two sons, Greg Wilson and wife, Kris, and Jason Wilson and companion, Tonette Quinn, all of Dyersburg; two brothers, Ray Westfall of Dyersburg and Jimmy Westfall of Moundsville, West Va.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Genevieve Westfall; four sisters; and six brothers.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Lee, Bobby Ferguson, Terry Ferguson, Gary Fowler II, Ray Westfall and Mike Glozier. Honorary pallbearers will be Missy Ferguson and Walt Marshall.
