This is the image the video surveillance camera captured as Stoney Anderson, 22, was in Wal-Mart allegedly using a stolen credit. Dyersburg police investigators did not initially know his identity and asked for the public's assistance in identifying him. The Dyersburg Police Department had an abundance of calls come in helping investigators identify Anderson.

A Dyersburg man has been identified by police as being one of the suspects involved a stolen credit card case.

On June 12 the State Gazette ran an article about an incident that occurred at Wal-Mart Super Center in Dyersburg where two suspects had used stolen credit cards to purchase items.

Video surveillance cameras had captured images of the two suspects, a white male and a white female, as they were in the store. Dyersburg Police Department investigators were asking for the public's assistance in identifying the two individuals.

The male in the video has been identified as Stoney Anderson, 22, of Dyersburg. Currently, a warrant is out for Anderson's arrest for fraudulent use of a credit card. The female in the video is not facing charges at this time.

Capt. Steve Isbell of the Dyersburg Police Department said the department was inundated with calls about the suspects.

"We would like to thank the public for their assistance in identifying the suspects," said Isbell. "The community response was a big help in the case."

Isbell said since Anderson has been identified it is only a matter of time before he is apprehended by police.

From the looks of the bag(s) he's carrying he must have really loaded up on somebody's credit card.

They should have had LifeLock...

Finally, a hidden security camera that takes a decent picture. When are people going to get the message: You are under almost constant surveillance. If you are going to commit a crime, either smile for the candid camera or wear a mask.
