Floyd C. Jowers, 78, of Newbern, died Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Maple Ridge Manor in Dyersburg.
He was a retired employee of HECO Manufacturing, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Glendale Church of Christ.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Scherffius officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.
The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Connie Yarbrough and husband, Rick, of Newbern; two sons, Kenny Jowers and wife, Nickie, of Newbern, and Mike Jowers and wife, Monica, of Dyersburg; and five grandchildren, Pam French and husband, Dewayne, of Paris, Tenn., Kim Yarbrough of Knoxville, Chase Fulcher and Kirsten Jowers, both of Newbern, and Nathan Rose of Hendersonville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Jowers; his parents, Sam Jowers and Elvie Seat Jowers Blackburn; a sister, Florence Ann Roberson; and four brothers, Brady Jowers, Carl Jowers, Joe Jowers and Robert Jowers.
Johnny B. Light, 60, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired employee of Dyersburg Fabrics and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Al V. Seward officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at 6-8 p.m. today at Cosmopolitan Funeral Services.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Crews Light; three daughters, Marcia Crews Bunch, Brandy Light and Shana Light-Hernandez and husband, Alfredo, all of Nashville; three sons, Kim Hunter and wife, Princess, of Knoxville, Rodney Crews and wife, LaShunda, of Jackson and Johnny B. Light Jr. of Warner Robins, Ga.; four sisters, Florine Jones, Carrie Lee McCreight, both of Dyersburg, Norma Netterville and husband, Alfred, and Lula Blue, both of St. Louis, Mo.; three brothers, James Light and wife, Josephine, Y.Z. Light and wife, Johnnie, and Lonnie Light and wife, Gladys, all of Dyersburg; 20 grandchildren; and a host of in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Pilot Light; and three brothers, Pilot Light Jr., Robert Lee Light and A.V. Light.
Pallbearers will be Cecil Evans, Willie Lee Crew Jr., Jake Bolden, Ray Bolden, Danny Crew, R. Lee Strayhorn and Donny Bolden.

Gerrad Dewayne Maze, 22, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at The Med in Memphis.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at New Bethel Baptist Church.
The family will receive visitors at noon at the church.
Survivors include his parents, Greg and Dierdia Maze of Dyersburg; two daughters, Arionna Maze and Khlia Watts, both of Dyersburg; a sister, DeAndria Maze of Dyersburg; a brother, Gregory Maze; his grandparents, David and Virginia Mims of Dyersburg and Ben and Lula Cardwell of Ridgely; a nephew, Adrian Maze of Woodville, Miss.; and a host of aunts and uncles.
Hazel Bell Morton, 92, of Friendship, died Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was a homemaker and a member of Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Friendship Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Pittinger officiating. Burial will be in Bellevernon Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence Morton of Friendship; two daughters, Jean Baysden and Jeanette Hutchison, both of Friendship; two sisters, Mary Sue Gourley of Friendship and Joyce Hutchison of Crockett Mills; four brothers, Gerald Woods of Crockett Mills, Billy Woods of Trenton, Elbert Woods of Alamo and Donald Woods of Arlington; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Joe Morton; her parents, Algie and Ruby Agee Woods; two sisters, Dorothy Burnett and Beatrice Simmons; and a brother, Travis Woods.
Pallbearers will be Troy Hutchison, Corey Hutchison, Bryan Boley, John Honeycutt, Larry Leath and Joe Young.
James Terry Wright, 69, of Laconia, formerly of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Methodist Hospital in Somerville.
He was a retired mechanic and welder for Proctor and Gamble, a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Memphis, a Navy veteran and a member of National Rifle Association.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Turner officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Reba Moseley Wright of Laconia; two daughters, Laurie Ann Wright of Pasadena, Calif. and Penny Renee Salyers of Chicago, Ill; two sons, James Gregory Wright and wife, Erma, and Jeffrey Lynn Wright, all of Chicago, Ill.; a sister, Linda Sue Forrester and husband, Harold, of Ellendale; and two grandchildren, T.J. Salyers and Cody Salyers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Barbara Little Wright.
Pallbearers will be nephews. Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry Henson.
