Dyer County man wanted for aggravated rape

Jay Earl Haynes is wanted by the Dyer County Sheriff's Department for aggravated rape and violation of parole. Sheriff's department investigators ask anyone with information on Haynes' whereabouts to please call Crime Stoppers at 731-285-8477 or the Dyer County Sheriff's Department at 731-285-2802.

The Dyer County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a man with warrants out for his arrest.

Jay Earl Haynes, 48, is wanted for aggravated rape and violation of parole.

The aggravated rape occurred this past weekend and authorities now have active warrants for his arrest.

Haynes is believed to be in the area and is described as a white male, weighing 178 lbs., 5 feet, 7 inches tall, brown hair and blue eyes.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Haynes, please call Crime Stoppers at 731-285-8477 or the Dyer County Sheriff's Department at 731-285-2802.

This scumbag has been in prison for Rape in 1987,aggravatd sexual assault in 1996.He was on parole at the time of this new charge,Per the TBI Sex Offender List He was classified as a violent offender.What is it going to take for the Judicial System to see that letting these perverts out is a mistake?I think they should castrate them all SNIP SNIP!!!!!!!!!!

The system is full with low fund,s plus no where to hold them they say! all over the world is full of these that murder their victim,s soul! I say castrate them all that their soul may be murdered. Lock them in small place with no light, no nothing and let them die. It is in human to rape any one!! I hope i see this case taken serious to the point to get every one attention!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well now the teacher is Dyer County's problem since she teaching there now. But yes they should do the same to females as they do males. She should have been convicted just as a man cause it's still happening. I don't feel sorry for him or her!!!

I hope that was a joke, YA DONT SAY. If not, that type of mentality could be one of the reasons why there is a double standard regarding men and women accused of sexual crimes.
