Pre-trial diversion, not prosecuted, dimissed, suspended sentence, Its no wonder that all the crime keeps going on! Come on now What are the DA and judges thinking?
I never hear any or thing mentioned about Citizen arrest, what with that any way? oh every one every one knows even our police you up town guy's let 'em go so they can continue as always!
Dubrule, why is this maniac still on the street? Is he going to have to kill before he is stopped?
What is wrong with our justice system?
they just keep slaping them on the hand and letting them go.
Are they telling us a man can break into our home shoot me in the leg, take a couple of shots at my wife and stesl her purse and he will serve no jail time ????????? Just how ignorant is that?????
It sure makes me want to move out of this town ! It's telling the thugs and dope heads how they can get a little extra money for their habit and it's all free. You would have to be a complete idiot not to know there is something VERY wrong with this picture and this justice system !!!!
Where were all these lawyers and DA's when I needed them? I got more time than any of these birds and my co-defendent has not even been to court yet(that was 2 years ago). This person bonded out and 1 year later was arrested on another charge of he same thing and was allow to bond out again without the first bond being revolted, which I thought was what happened when you were out on bond and got caughted again. Still this person has not been to court on neither charge. So tell me what is wrong with the system?
AND YOU WONDER WHY THEY WANT TO PICK ON LEGAL HANDGUN PERMIT HOLDERS ?????????????????THE COURTS SHOULD BE HELD LIABLE FOR CRIMINALS THAT ARE RELEASED OR GIVEN "TIME OUT" SENTENCES THAT COMMIT VIOLENT OR OTHER CRIMES AND HAVE RECORDS THAT SHOW A PATTERN OF CRIMINAL HISTORY>THEY HAVE THEIR NAME IN THE PAPER MORE THAN OBAMA DOES. MAYBE THAT WILL CHANGE SOME OF THESE COURT RULINGS TO REAL SENTENCES .
if they want to play wild wild west then we need a judge that will play wild wild west with them and string them up by the neck!
I realize the penal systems are over crowded and building more is exspensive so why don't we make these criminals sleep in tents and work on a chain gang like the Sheriff in Arizona. And each one of them give up there possesions to pay for their crimes. And if the DA and Judges don't like it let them be the first ones to go to Tent City. Then we elect some that will do their job.Because the ones we have now are just as guilty of not doing their jobs as the criminals are of their crimes.
I challenge the paper to post the name of the judge(s) who give these bench rulings. They'll be looking for work after the next election.
Let me get this straight. It's ok to shoot somebody in the leg but I can't break into somebody's Volkswagen. Who needs comic strips when you can read the Circuit Court rulings?
