Jean Thedford Eubanks, 84, of Tallahassee, Fla., formerly of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009 at Tallahassee Memorial Health Care.
She was an accountant for Johnson & Koonce CPA.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22 in Fairview Cemetery with Steve Anderson officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca Anderson and husband, Steve, of Wacissa, Fla.; two sons, Jimmy Eubanks and wife, Peggy, of Dyersburg, and Chuck Eubanks and wife, Brenda, of Lake Wales, Fla.; a grandchild, Bob Eubanks and wife, Candace, of Obion; and three great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Eubanks and Adrianna Jordan, both of Obion, and Brandon King of Troy.
Ida Alsup Keith, 86, of Newbern, died Monday, Aug. 17, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
Much of her life was spent on a farm and later in life she retired from All-Wear Manufacturing. She was born January 29, 1923 in Dyer County, where she spent all of her life. For over 20 years she lived in the Newbern Housing Authority Apartments on Jones Street. She was a member of Newbern First Baptist Church and was a lovely God-fearing lady.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Klutts officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery in Elbridge.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Keith Laird of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Rubye Johnson of St. Louis, Opal Ladd of Newbern and Mable Rodgers of Cahckia, Ill.; two grandchildren, Keith Laird and Blake Laird, both of Houston, Texas; and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Franklin Alsup and Cara Jane McCool Alsup.
Pallbearers will be John Alsup, Bruce Culver, Jeff Ladd, Mike Ladd, Eddie Rodgers and Jerry Wilson.
