Margaret D. Lowrance Allen, 72, passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009 at The Bridges in Ridgely, Tenn. She was a lifelong resident of the RoEllen community, loving wife and mother, and a faithful member of the RoEllen Baptist Church. Margaret enjoyed gardening, canning, raising flowers, and spotting hummingbirds, but most of all she loved her Lord and her family.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Alvie D. and Margaret Olive Lowrance and two brothers, Raymond and Billy Lowrance.
Margaret leaves her husband of over 50 wonderful years, Carnell. They farmed side by side their entire married life. They have a daughter, Sandra of RoEllen. Margaret also leaves two sisters, Gladys King Nethery of Strasburg, Illinois and Doris (Bobby) Leach of Dyersburg, and one brother Bobby Joe (Linda) Lowrance of Newbern along with many nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law who loved her dearly.
Visitation will be from 5-8 Sunday evening. Memorial service will be in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Monday. Officiating this service will be Rev. Johnny Michael.
Pallbearers to serve are Benny Leach, Larry House, Roy Hinman, Jeff Jones, Benny Scarbrough and Richard Searight. Honorary pallbearers are David Viar, Marvin Bennett, Glenn Sanders, Sammy Reasons, Danny Evans and Richard Hill.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the RoEllen Baptist Church, 5868 Hwy 104 E. of Dyersburg, TN 38024, the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, the Alzheimer's Association, or Gideon International.
Mr. Thomas G. "Tommy" Tolley, 73 of Ridgley, TN, died Friday, September 18, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. He was retired from Colonial Rubber after 32 years of employment and a Navy Veteran.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2009 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Chessor officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20th at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Mrs. Delores Cooper Tolley of Ridgely, 1 Daughter, Deborah Lacy and husband Danny of Finley, 1 son, William "Buddy" Tolley and wife Gail of Dyersburg, Brother-in-law, Danny Cooper of Newbern and 4 Grandchildren, Amy Lacy, Alisha Tolley, Ashley Tolley and Amber Tolley. He was preceded in death by his parents Mamie and Henry Tolley, 2 sisters, Elizabeth Cain and Pauline Howard and 2 brothers, Rayford Tolley and Robert Tolley.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Bell, James Hale, Cyler Hudson, Jeff Hudson, Jimmy Kuykendoll and Scott Lacy.

Wilburn Odell Tubbs, 78, of Bogota, died Friday, Sept. 18, 2009 at The Highlands of Dyersburg.
He was retired as a farmer and a janitor for Bogota School and was a member of Faith Baptist Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Perry Grills officiating. Burial will be in Sorrells Chapel Cemetery in Dyersburg.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Ruth Murray Tubbs of Bogota; six daughters, Maxine Baker and husband, Widdis, of Trimble, Bonnie Epperson and husband, David, and Mary Hein and husband, Dennis, all of Dyersburg, Gail Curtis and husband, Billy, Shelby Chun and husband, David, and Patricia Grills and husband, Perry, all of Newbern; two sons, Neal Tubbs and wife, Roxann, of Bogota, and Danny Tubbs of Dyersburg; a sister, Louise Warren of Tiptonville; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Roger Dale Tubbs; his parents, William Balious and Edna May Mays Tubbs; two sisters, Ramey Tubbs and Ruby Murphy; three brothers, Ray Tubbs, John Tubbs and Buster Tubbs; and a grandson, Billy Joe Burkeen.
Pallbearers will be Mark Baker, Jeff Epperson, Brad Tubbs, Chad Tubbs, Eric Tubbs and Andy Grills. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Kenneth D. "Pete" Young, 74, of Dyer, died Friday, Sept. 18, 2009 at his residence.
He was an engineer with Mid-South Towing and a member of RoEllen Church of Christ.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Bro. Frank Paris and Bro. Benny McVay officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
The family will receive visitors from 4:30-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Coker Young of Dyer; a son, Clint Young of Knoxville; four sisters, Linda Bland, Brenda Patterson and Sandy Sanchez, all of Dyersburg, and Doris Timmer of The Villages, Fla.; five brothers, Luther Young, Billy Reed Young, Bubba Young, Jimmy Young and William Young, all of Dyersburg; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, S.G. and Christine Coker of Newbern; two brothers-in-law, Larry Coker and Ronnie Coker; and 18 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Norma Gibson Young; and a brother, David Young.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Permenter, Pud Conders, Eugene Greene, Wayne Hendrix, Tay Joslin and James Shaw. Honorary pallbearers will be men of the RoEllen Church of Christ.
