Mrs. Brenda Kay Mauldin, 60, of Ridgely, Tennessee, died Monday, September 21, 2009, at her residence. Mrs. Mauldin was a member of the Willingham Baptist Church and a nurse's aide and EMT for over 20 years. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation was Tuesday, September 22, 2009, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Wynnburg Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at the Wynnburg Baptist Church in Wynnburg, TN, with Brother Jason Allison officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely, TN.

Mrs. Mauldin is survived by her husband, Jack Mauldin of Ridgely; two daughters, Tracy Mauldin and Kayla Mauldin both of Ridgely; a son Shane Mauldin and wife Amanda, of Newbern; four sisters, Marie Smothers and Bonnie Smith both of Tiptonville, Margaret Smothers of Wynnburg, and Sheila Bryson of Dyersburg; two brothers, Otis Mathina of Hayti, MO, and Jerry Mathina of Dyersburg; and five grandchildren, Shane Anthony Tubbs, James Tyler Tubbs, Garry Allen Mauldin, Madison Rein Kindle and Garrett Christopher Jackson Mauldin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Susie Mathina and four brothers, Leon, Terry, Bobby, and Wayne Mathina.

Pallbearers will be Robert Mauldin, Jr., Todd Mauldin, Shane Jowers, Austin Rivers, Gary Deason, Richard Roberson and Erick Rivers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Tippit and William Mathina.

Mrs. Lula Bell Milner, 72, of Dyersburg, TN died Sunday, September 20, 2009 at the Highlands in Dyersburg, TN. Mrs. Milner was the former owner of Southtown Grocery.

Mrs. Milner is survived by her daughter, Joyce McCutcheon and husband Bobby of Dyersburg; a sister, May Davenport of Ocala, Florida; a brother, Junior Ray of Cullman, Alabama; 2 grandchildren, Carrie Buckner and Crystal McCutcheon and 3 great-grandchildren, Jaron, Jason, and Jerrett McCutcheon.

Mrs. Milner was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Milner; a brother Hershel Ray; and a great-grandson, Triston Scott Brown McCutcheon.

Graveside services for Mrs. Milner were held at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 3:00 PM with Reverend Calvin Smith officiating. Pallbearers were Brian Milner, Jerry Edgell, Bobby McCutcheon and Gary Sanderson.

Florence Reeves, 94, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2009 at her residence.

She was a homemaker and a member of Finley Pentecostal Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Finley Pentecostal Church with Bro. Steve Walker and Bro. Glen Streeter officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors at 5:30-8 p.m. today at the church.

Survivors include two daughters, Jo Ann Powell and husband, Jere, of Dyersburg and Frances Hutson and husband, Raymond, of Finley; a son, Roy Reeves and wife, Linda, of Finley; two sisters, Ruby Sims of Fowlkes and Jessie Pritchett of Bartlett; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Reeves; her parents, J.D. and Ethel Lott; a sister, Lorene Richardson; and a brother, Elco Lott.

Pallbearers will be Floyd Sullivan, Keith Tucker, Jere Tucker, Carroll Kirkpatrick, Grady Welch and Robby Tidwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Beecham, Harvey Williams and Carter Willoughby.

Katherine Marie "Kathy" Cravens Clark, 49, of Savannah, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.

She was an employee of Huddle House.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. James Combs officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.

The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Roy of Savannah; a son, Jimmy Richard Roy and wife, Shelly, of Adamsville; her parents, Charles W. and Dorothy Cravens of Newbern; two sisters, Mary E. Hyde of Greenfield, Texas, and Shirley Riggs of Union City; six brothers, Ronnie Cravens, William Cravens, Bobby Cravens, Charles A. Cravens and Jeffrey Cravens, all of Newbern, and Eddie Cravens of Newport News, Va.; and a grandchild, Clay Robert McCullar of Adamsville.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Thomas Jacob Roy.

Pallbearers will be William Cravens, Eddie Cravens, Charles A. Cravens, Bobby Cravens, Ronnie Cravens and Jeffrey Cravens.
