Golda Castleman, 99, of Dyersburg, died Friday, Sept. 25, 2009.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Marvin Maupin officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy LaRue of Dyersburg, and Clarita McKee and husband, Connie, of Jackson; two grandchildren, Sandra Chamberlain and husband, Richard, of Columbia, S.C., and Mark McKee and wife, Nancy, of Delmont, Penn.; five great-grandchildren, Heather McNeil (Danny), Amy Heskett, Serena Bonifate (Marc), Joseph Chamberlain and Chadwick McKee (Leah); and six great-great-grandchildren, Austin Wall, Preston Bonifate, Kylie Wall, Skyler Chamberlain, Bridget Bonifate and Gabrielle McNeil.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius Castleman; her parents, William David and Lena James Maupin; four brothers, Dewey Maupin, Arco Maupin, Guy Maupin and Curtis Maupin; two stepbrothers, Paul Maupin and Silas Maupin; and a son-in-law, Ernest LaRue.
Pallbearers will be Mark McKee, Richard Chamberlain, Ron Schau, Larry Joe Maupin, Karyl Bailey and Jay Chamberlain.
Services for Hurshelene Holmon Johnson, 90, of Cordova, formerly of Newbern, will be at 3 p.m. today at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. George Butler officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.
The family will receive visitors from noon-3 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She was retired from Johnson Funeral Home.
Survivors include a son, David Hollman of Cordova.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Neil Johnson; her parents, H.B. and Myrtle Anderson; and a sister, Marcine Chitwood.
Irene Estelle Phillips, 86, of Dyersburg, died Friday, Sept. 25, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Palestine Cemetery in Dyersburg.
The family will receive visitors from 6-9 p.m. today at Halls Funeral Home.
Survivors include a son, Robert Phillips of Dyersburg; two daughters, Judie Anderson and Marianne King, both of Denver, Colo.; two stepsisters, Katie Harber of Friendship and Ruby Harris of Sikeston, Mo.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lavoughn Phillips; and a son, Richard L. Phillips.
