Maria Yvonne Butler Harrison, 62, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009 at her residence.
She was a former teacher at the Developmental Skills Center, a member of RoEllen Church of Christ and a former clerk for the Dyer County Clerk's Office.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Roger Harrison of Dyersburg; a son, Michael Harrison of Dyersburg; an aunt, Mary Katherine Tipton of Paducah, Ky.; and two cousins, Susan Bracey of Paducah, Ky., and Jack Tipton Jr. of Cordova.
She was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Harrison; her parents, John and Sarah Luther Butler; and her grandparents, Bill and Lola Luther.
James Arthur Pinion, 81, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was retired as a truck driver for ABF Trucking Co. and a member of Star of Bethlehem Church near Hornbeak.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Antioch Cemetery in Hornbeak with the Rev. Billy Tucker officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. today at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include four daughters, Barbara Evans of Trenton, Jackie Earls of Sharon, Donna Casey of Dyersburg and Brenda Davis of Dresden; a brother, Larry Pinion of Dyersburg; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Daniels Pinion; his parents, Charles and Bessie Pinion; a sister, Jessie Lou Pinion; three brothers, Charles Lee Pinion, George Pinion and Freddie Pinion; and two grandsons.
Pallbearers will be Jason Brewer, Danny Earls, Chris King, Tyler Vick, Kyle Vick and Justin Brewer.
Robert E. Tirey, 76, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009 at his residence.
He was retired assistant fire chief of Dyersburg Fire Department after 40 years and a member of Lenox Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Rudy Ring and the Rev. Joe Wright officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Edna Sue Tirey of Dyersburg; four daughters, Shelia Barnard and husband, Verlon, of Steele, Mo., Pam Elliott and husband, Bill, Cindy Sawyers and husband, Larry, and Sherry Morgan and husband, Terry, all of Dyersburg; a son, Robert J. "Rusty" Tirey and wife, Anna, of Wingo, Ky.; a brother, Walker "Bud" Tirey of Georgia; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Riggs Tirey; his parents, Edgar and Mary Elizabeth Tirey; and a brother, James E. Tirey.
Pallbearers will be Dyersburg Fire Department Honor Guard. Honorary pallbearers will be Barry Stanley, Ray Hurst, Neal Jacks, Mackie Joslin, Tommy Holland, Ben Sipes, Ray Gray, William Gable, Richard Wyrick, Jerry Walker, Gary Hastings and Larry Bizzle.
