Justine Teena Jarred of Dyersburg, Tenn. died Thursday, September 24 at Seaside, Oregon.

She was the retired President and Treasurer of Teena's Shoes, Clothes and Gifts, Inc. in Seaside, Oregon and Lincoln City, Oregon for 25 years.

She was a fashion model for 16 years. Modeling in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Calif., Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, Washing. She was treasurer of the State Democratic Party for three years for the State of Washington. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Lola Summers Bible Class, D.D. Senior Citizens, Kennageus, XYZ, Queen of Bella Bells Red Hat Society, Past Matron and Life member of Maple Chapter 95 Eastern Star, Nydia Temple No. 4 Daughters of Nile. Life member of Two-Ten National Foundation Charity Trust. She was Past President and Life member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Chaplain of 8/40. She was a member of Dyersburg Literary Club and the Dyersburg Women's Club.

Funeral Services will be at Hughes Ransom Mortuary in Seaside, Oregon at 11:00 AM on September 30 with Pastor Michael Pyburn of Pioneer Presbyterian Church to officiate with a reception to follow.

Services will also be held in Tenn. Visitation will take place 12 to 2 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home with Dr. Blakeburn Officiating. Burial to follow in Dyer county Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tenn.

Survivors include her son William Jarred MacLean of Seaside, Or., and daughters Beverly Parker of Kenton, Tn. and Glynda Harris of Beltsville, Maryland, Sisters Virginia Williamson, Fanchon Ann Brown of Dyersburg, Tn. Grandchildren Kylynn Jean Lucerne of Seaside, Or., Heather MacLean, Seattle, Wash., Wendy MacLean and William Scott MacLean of Eugene, Or., Jason Thomas of Kenton, Tn., Joel Thomas and Josh Thomas of Boise, Id.

She was preceded in death by three brothers A.C. Jarred, Jr., Rayburn Jarred, Sr. Everett Jarred all of Dyersburg, Tenn., and a grandson Gerald "Corky" Thomas.

Surviving Nieces and Nephews are Barbara Mosier, Belinda Epperson, Mike Jarred, Chuck Jarred of Dyersburg, Tenn., Kent Brown of Texas, Teena Toyas of Seaside, OR., Virginia Carter, Mo., Rayburn Jarred of Louisville, Ky.

Pallbearers will include Chuck Jarred, Mike Jarred, David Epperson, Rayburn Jarred, and Jason Thomas. Honorary Pallbearers will include Jack Claiborne, Walter Urban, Charles Royer, William (Bill) Dawson.
