Obituaries for October 6, 2009

Ronald Lee Laing, 54, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009 at the Highlands of Dyersburg.

He was a retired construction worker.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Mac Hall officiating.

The family will receive visitors from noon-1 p.m. today at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his mother, Lela Mae Laing of Dyersburg; two sisters, Vickie Davis of Dyersburg and Cecila Laing of Texas; and a brother, Alex James Laing of Atoka.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marion Calvin Laing; and a sister, Betty Jean Hoffman.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Davis, Bobby Davis, Michael Beety and Nicholas Riddick.
