Helen Hubble Faulk, 80, of Dyersburg, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2009 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.
She was a retired employee of Heckethorn Manufacturing and a member of First United Pentecostal Church.
Services were held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Brent Rashall officiating. Burial was in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, Luther Faulk of Dyersburg; two daughters, Shelia Parker and husband, Lynn, of Dyersburg and Janet Jones and husband, Jim, of Smyrna; a stepdaughter, Sharon Harris and husband, Johnny, of Dyersburg; a stepson, Michael Faulk and wife, Penny, of Dyersburg; a sister, Esther Howell of Memphis; a brother, Danny Newman of Dyersburg; four grandchildren, Jill McGuire, Kelly Carroll, Carla Jones Givens and Keri Jones; and four great-grandchildren, Adam Henson, Phillip Henson, Ashley McGuire and Parker McGuire.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ishmael Hubble; two brothers, Freddie Sparks and Jerry Campbell; and a stepbrother, Lee Newman.
Pallbearers were Jerry Patton, Kevin McGuire, Billy Cannon, Cecil Parker, Sam McGuire and Jim Davis.
Mary E. Hubble, 84, of Covington, formerly of Dyersburg, died Monday, Oct. 12, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Covington.
She was a retired clerk for Peebles Department Store and a member of Dyersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Appleton officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors at 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, V.L. Hubble Jr. of Covington; a daughter, Barbara Waits and husband, Danny, of Burlison; a son, Dale Hubble of Olive Branch, Miss.; three sisters, Jean Cutshaw of Maryville, Wanda Jeffers of Oakridge and Deloris Taylor of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren, David Cox of Munford, Joseph Hubble of Southaven, Miss. and Jason Waits and Jarrod Waits, both of Burlison.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Elmer and Flora Henry Teffeteller; and a sister, Ruth Wright.
Pallbearers will be Jason Waits, Jarrod Watis, Jesse Waits, David Cox, Joseph Hubble and Lynn Parker.
Mary Ruth Nye, 76, of Newbern, died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Buddy Weeks officiating. Burial will be in Church Grove Cemetery in Newbern.
Survivors include four daughters, Mary Jane Pugh and husband, John, of Portage, Ind., Joyce Davis and husband, John, of Ripley, Daphne Pate of Yorkville and Kathy Cerny and husband, Bruce, of Paris; six sons, Ronnie Sims and wife, Cathy, and Terry Sims, all of Newbern, Danny Sims and wife, Patricia, Donald Sims and Brian Pate and wife, Ewa, all of Dyersburg and Ricky Sims and wife, Joann, of Friendship; four sisters; three brothers, 31 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and a great great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Nye; her parents, Lee Elmo Jackson and Mary Frances Davison Jackson; a brother, Joe Jackson; and a grandson, Timothy Pettie.
Pallbearers will be Josh Sims, Andrew Bishop, Jason Sims, B.J. Pate, Billie Sims and Ryan Korbar.
