Health Care Forum set at DSCC Oct. 29

Tuesday, October 20, 2009
A community health care forum will be held from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 29, in the Student Center at Dyersburg State Community College.

The event, described as an evening of conversation with local physicians and health care experts, is titled, "Health Care. Is there a cure?"

"Many in our community are struggling to gain access to quality and affordable health care," reads the flyer promoting the event. "There are many proposals for healthcare reform in Washington, but what would healthcare reform really do for the people of Dyersburg?"

The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

The evening is sponsored by DSCC and the Tennessee Health Care Campaign.
