Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey said he was the only person at the table that had voted against the state income tax and would be ready to lead the state on his first day in office. 'Ron is ready,' said Ramsey. 'It's that simple. On day one I can walk in and be ready to go. I've been there for 17 years. I don't need on-the-job training. I don't need training wheels. I am ready to go on day one. That's exactly what we're going to need.'
