Lake County accident results in fatality

Wednesday, November 11, 2009
A 60-year-old Lake County resident died outside the Ridgely city limits on Gratio Road on Thursday, Nov. 5, in a two-vehicle accident.

The incident happened at approximately 5:30 p.m. when the driver of a 1997 Corvette attempted to pass a pickup truck driven by a juvenile.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the driver of the Corvette was traveling at a high rate of speed and clipped the back of the truck as he was possibly trying to pass. The car went off of the south side of the rode and struck a utility pole. The driver was totally ejected from the vehicle and died as a result. He was the only occupant of the vehicle.

The juvenile driver did not receive any injuries.

The THP is still investigating the crash.

to yahooo

If you could read, you would have read that it was the elderly man's fault, not the kid's fault. The "kid" in this case is very upset about what happened even though he did absolutely nothing wrong in the death of that man.

Don't you just love people of assumption? Scan the article and make terrible comments. Poor kid.
