Christmas at Sorghum Valley accepting sponsors for Christmas trees

The Dyer County Fair is accepting sponsors for Christmas trees to be used during Christmas at Sorghum Valley, which will be Dec. 10, 11 and 12 from 6 to 9 p.m.

For $100 you get: a Christmas tree that you get to decorate, a sign beside your tree with your name on it, a base to hold up your tree and one outlet for lights. The tree is yours to have when the weekend is over.

Donations of canned goods, coats, animal food, eyeglasses and hearing aids go toward the Union Mission, Mathew 25:40, the Salvation Army, the State Gazette's Coats for Kids program, the Humane Society and the Lions Club.
