Maxine Lumley Greene, 80, of Newbern, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
She was a homemaker.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Newbern First Assembly of God Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Lyndel Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home and on Monday from noon until service time at the church.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Palmer and husband, Steve, of Newbern; a son, Andrew Greene and wife, Faye, of Newbern; a brother, James Lumley of McKenzie; and four grandchildren, Harrison Wade Palmer, Christine Katherine Palmer, Sarah Beth Greene and Eric Kyle Greene, all of Newbern.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Greene; her parents, Fletcher and Bessie Lorane Climer Lumley; two sisters, Bettie B. Houk and Eveline Sanders; and three brothers, Travis Lumley, Ernest V. Lumley and Leroy Lumley.
Pallbearers will be Bill Shelton, Keith Shelton, Richard Denton, Jeff Canada, Scott Copeland, Bubba Wheeler, Max Woods and Shannon Walker.
L.M. 'Bo' Rogers, "Mayor of RoEllen," 87, of RoEllen, died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009 at Regional Hospital of Jackson.
He was owner of Bo Rogers Garage in RoEllen, a member of RoEllen Church of Christ, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving in the Africa, Sicily and Italy campaigns.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Bro. Parks Thurmon officiating. Burial will be in RoEllen Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 2-4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Nevilla L. Rogers of Dyersburg; a daughter, Dianne Permenter and husband, Bobby, of RoEllen; two sons, Barry Rogers and wife, Teri, and Pat Rogers and wife, Judy, all of RoEllen; five grandchildren, Shannan Burton and husband, Earl, and Becky Kent and husband, Kris, all of Newbern, Bo Rogers, Katherine Rogers and Taylor Rogers, all of RoEllen; and three great-grandchildren, Courtney Burton, Hannah Kent and Mattie Kent, all of Newbern.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Alice Cook Rogers; a sister, Sis Harrison; and two brothers, Autra Rogers and Roy Rogers.
Pallbearers will be Earl Burton, Kris Kent, Bo Rogers, Green Smitheal, Clifford Hopgood and Doug Clifton. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Harrison, Ralph "Cooter" McDowell, James Taylor, Alan Burchfiel, James Mallard, S.G. Coker, Jute Bell, Taylor Rogers, Gerald Newbill and Ralph Holland.

Mrs. Margaret Watson Wyatt, 91, died Saturday, November 14, 2009, at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.
She was born Wednesday, June 12, 1918 in Dyersburg to Sylvester and Madge Roberts Watson.
Margaret and her husband Clifford moved to Whittier, CA in the late 1950s where they co-owned and operated an apartment complex. They returned to Dyersburg to enjoy their retirement years with family and friends.
The Wyatt family will receive visitors from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2009 at Curry Funeral Home. Graveside services for Mrs. Wyatt will be held at 2:00 p.m., November 16, 2009 at Fairview Cemetery with Reverend Danny Johnson officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be great-nephews: Judd Reed, Clint Reed, Nathan Newsom, Blake Newsom, Logan Brooks, Clarence Covington, J.D. Newsom, Loren Newsom, Hoyt Newsom, Clark Newsom, Chipper Williams, Nathan Moorefield, and Jared Johnson.
She is survived by six nieces: Jennifer Newsom Reed and Lea Newsom Williams of Dyersburg, Bret Newsom Brooks of Martin, TN, Judy Moorefield Covington of Clarksville, TN, Susan Butterworth Rimes of Kentwood, LA, and Donna Orr Willoughby of Ruidoso, NM,; four nephews: Michael Moorefield of Clarksville, TN, Bill Newsom, Jr., Jim Newsom, and Danny Johnson all of Dyersburg. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Wilma Wyatt of Oklahoma City, OK; two grandchildren: Raye Hill of Tuttle, OK and Thomas Wyatt of Minneapolis, MN and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Wyatt; her son, Bobby Wyatt; her parents Sylvester and Madge Watson; five sisters, Jacqueline Newsom, Lucy Boatright, Violet Moorefield, Temp Butterworth, and Shine Watson; and, two brothers, Nick Watson and Edward Watson.
Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
