Graveside services for C.W. Carman, 72, of Friendship, will be Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Bellevernon Cemetery in Friendship with Rev. Clyde Thompson, Jr. officiating. Friendship Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Carman died Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. He was a farmer and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He leaves his wife, Jane Carman of Friendship; daughter, Debbie Lynn of Colorado Springs, Co; sons, Mike Carman of Friendship, Jimmy Carman of Alamo; sister, Sue Bivens of Memphis; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bill Williams, Danny Gwinn, Aaron Carman, Dale Tatum, Ronnie Vernon and Joel Brown. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lawrence died Monday, November 23, 2009 at the Crockett County Nursing Home. She was the retired bookkeeper for Bobby Lawrence Chevrolet of Newbern. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lawrence, a granddaughter, Nancy Morgan and a son-in-law Jimmy Smith. She leaves two daughters, Terrie Smith of Friendship and Bobbie Rautiola of Dayton, Ohio and one son, Ted Lawrence of Plymouth, Michigan; six brothers, Euclid Conner of Benton, Ky, R.W. Conner of Dexter, Mo, Radford Conner of Murray, KY, Howard Conner of Hardin, Ky, Arlie Conner of Mayfield, Ky and Marlie Conner of Benton, Ky; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Grandsons. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Elma Jean Shull, 80, of Ridgely, Tennessee died Saturday, November 21, 2009 at her residence. She was a member of the Abundant Life Church, a retired bookkeeper and a member of the Board of the Ridgely Public Library.
Funeral services for Mrs. Shull will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at the Abundant Life Church in Ridgely, TN with Reverend David Gray and Dr. William Oakley officiating. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery. Visitation was held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 23, 2009 at the church. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Shull is survived by her husband, Robert T. Shull, Sr., of Ridgely; a daughter, Lou Ann Criswell of Newbern; a son, Dr. Robert T. Shull, Jr., of Memphis; two sisters, Dorothy O'Neal of Houston, TX and Jo Robbins of Dyersburg; one brother, Michael Woody of Dyersburg; and one grandchild, Sarah Criswell of Newbern.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Robbie Woodard Woody and a brother, Jimmy Woody.
Pallbearers will be Trent Patterson, Kent Patterson, Paul Bargery, David Rhodes, Mike Hamra and David Mooring.

Virginia Jarred Williamson, 90, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at Oakwood Community Living Center.
She was retired bookkeeper for Pacific Valve Company in Long Beach, Calif., former bookkeeper for Western Auto's National Office in Los Angeles, Calif., member of the Eastern Star and a member of Dyersburg First Christian Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Halliburton officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Moser and husband, Ray, of Dyersburg; a sister, Ann Jarred Brown and husband, James, of Dyersburg; a sister-in-law, Jewel Jarred of Dyersburg; two grandchildren, Lori Cutler of Dyersburg and Dee Coats and husband, Robert, of Tiptonville; three great-grandchildren, Jeremy Jones and wife, Beverly, of Newbern, Lauren Luft Easley of Tiptonville and Barbara Jane "B.J." Cutler of Dyersburg; and a great-great-grandson, Jarred Michael Jones of Newbern.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Williamson; her parents, Birdie Alexander Jarred and A.C. Jarred Sr.; a sister, Justine "Teena" Jarred; and three brothers, Everett Jarred, Rayburn Jarred Sr. and A.C. Jarred Jr.
Pallbearers will be Robert Coats, Rayburn Jarred Jr., Charles V. Jarred, Kent Brown, Mike Jarred and Jeremy Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Webb, Ray E. Moser and David Epperson.
