Van Williams, 64, of Knoxville, formerly of Dyersburg, died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009.
Born on February 9, 1945, he worked as a City Recorder for the City of Dyersburg for 32 years.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009 in the Mausoleum Chapel in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 2, 2009 from 5:00-7:30 PM at Highland Memorial Funeral Home.
He is survived by his loving wife Ann; daughter and son-in-law, Amy Williams Vaughn and Jimmy Vaughn Jr.; grandchildren, Emma, Evan, and Eli; sisters, Glenda Hipp of Mobile, AL and Mary Lynn Faulkner of Belize, Central America. He is also survived by 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
He is preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Iva Lynn Williams.
