Grady James Battles Jr., 38, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010 in Centerville.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Fountain of Life Ministries in Halls with Pastor Alonzo Green officiating. Burial will be Memorial Park Cemetery in Dyersburg.

The family will receive visitors at 4-8 p.m. Friday at Cosmopolitan Funeral Services.

Survivors include a daughter, Kaila Cymone Battles of Dyersburg; his father, Grady James Battles Sr. of Memphis; his mother, Emma Lee Clay Mullin and husband, Bobby, of Dyersburg; two sisters, Misti Lynn Clay and Brandi Dismuke, both of Dyersburg; two brothers, Minister Kevin Flagg of Ripley and Grady James Battles II of Dyersburg.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Lyte, Joseph Lyte, Roy Lyte, Eric Lyte, Michael Boyd and Melvin Shaw. Honorary pallbearers will be Grady James Battles II, Willie Maclin, Craig Mann and Alphonoso Abernathy.

The family request that any memorials be directed to 1527 Shelly Ave., Dyersburg, TN 38024.

Robert "Buddy" Riley Sr., 65, of Tiptonville, died Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was a retired heavy equipment operator and mechanic.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home in Ridgely with Bro. Brent Davidson and Bro. Larry Byasse officiating. Interment will follow in Crockett's Chapel Cemetery in Tiptonville.

The family will receive visitors from 5 pm until 8 pm Thursday at Curry Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel.

Survivors include his wife, Shelia Threlkeld Riley of Tiptonville; a daughter, Kim Doyle of Tiptonville; two sons, Tony Riley of Tiptonville and Wes Riley of Finley; and 4 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert J. Riley and Mae Wells Riley.

Pallbearers will be B. V. Hutcherson, Royce Funderburk, Jimmy Simmons, Nicky Leland, David Lee Gooch, and Jim Thorne. Honorary pallbearers will be Dub Leland, Steve Cravens, Joe Dickey, Johnny Inlow, and Claudie Davidson.

Johnny Lynn Winchester, 60, of Martin, formerly of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009 at his residence.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Northside Church of Jesus Christ. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors at 12-1 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Survivors include a daughter, Raven Lynn Winchester of Dyersburg; a sister, Carolyn Walker of Adamsville; two brothers, James L. Winchester and Stacey L. Winchester, both of Dyersburg; and a granddaughter, Madelyn Grace Church of Dyersburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dorothy Morris Winchester; and a brother, Alfred L. Winchester.
