Bon Jean Asbridge, 94, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a retired beautician and a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Charles B. Asbridge Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from noon-1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include a son, Charles "Buddy" Asbridge of Dyersburg; two sisters, Inez Asbridge of Dyersburg and Sue White of Indianapolis, Ind.; a brother, Hank Rook of Bruceton; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Asbridge; a daughter, Nora Asbridge Brewer; a son, Jimmy Dale Asbridge; and her parents, William and Nora Rook.

Pallbearers will be Greg Swims, Adam Swims, Aaron Swims, Damon Asbridge, Jerry Criswell and Larry Christian.

Marshall Edward Burns, age 74, of Dyersburg passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010 at Jackson Regional Medical Center.

He was a Master Plumber and Electrician and owner of Burns Plumbing Co. for 44 years. He was also a Mason for 40 years, an avid fisherman, musician, and naturalist.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Clara Burns, of Dyersburg; two sons, Wendell (Leslie) Burns and Randy Burns, of Dyersburg; one sister, Judy (Gene) Cobb of Flower Mound, Texas; three brothers, Max Burns, Gene "Buck" Burns, and Tom (Dorothy) Burns of Dyersburg; three grandchildren, Molly Burns, Allison (Ty) Hicks, and Matthew Daniels; and one great-grandson, Peyton Hicks, all of Dyersburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Clarice Burns; a daughter, Felicia Reaves; one sister and three brothers.

There will be a private memorial service for the immediate family and close friends to be held at a later date. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Dyersburg-Dyer County Humane Society, 1120 East Court St. Dyersburg, TN.

Opal Ladd, 98, of Newbern, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a homemaker.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Mallonee and Mr. Charles Miller officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.

The family will receive visitors at 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include three daughters, Betty Culver of Newbern, Helen Ferraro of Racine, Wis. and Louise Miller of Union City; a son, Charles Ladd of Newbern; two sisters, Mable Rodgers of Cahokia, Ill. and Ruby Johnson of Hazelwood, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Alfred Ladd; a son, Robert Louis Ladd; her parents, Will and Cara Jane McCool Alsup; and nine brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Charles Funderburk, Mike Ladd, Jeff Ladd, Bruce Culver, Craig McManus and Terry Meyers. Honorary pallbearers will be sitters of Mrs. Ladd.

Rylee Grace Moore, 2-month-old daughter of Zachery Don Moore and Jayda Danielle Worrell, both of Union City, died Jan. 23, 2010, at her home.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Revs. Jerry Wiggins and Ken Jewell officiating. Burial will follow in Stanley's Chapel Cemetery near Union City.

Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 this evening.

Pallbearers will be Clint Malone and Chad Dill.

She was born Nov. 18, 2009, in Union City. Her mother was a member of Crosswind Baptist Church in Union City.

She is also survived by her grandparents, Gina Worrell of Union City, Keith Harrington of Morris Chapel, Paul and Holli Moore of Woodland Mills and Corey and Melissa O'Mar of Clinton, Ky.; her great-grandparents, Johnny and Carolyn Worrell of Union City, Betty Parrish of Hornbeak, Debbie and James Eakes, Donna and Hank Moore and Mike Woods, all of Hickman, Ky., Charlotte Sarten of Clinton and Steve and Paulette Talbot of Dyersburg; her aunts and uncles, Abby Niemeyer and Jonathan Niemeyer, both of Woodland Mills, Montanna Worrell of St. Louis, Colby Turner of Union City and Dusty and Adrienne Spillman of Hickman; and several cousins, great aunts and great uncles.

She was preceded in death by her aunt, Madison Hunter.
