Florence Davison Brashier, 80, of Tiptonville, died Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at her residence.

She was an active member of Tiptonville Baptist Church for 60 years. She was a member of the Troy Chapter Eastern Star and a Pink Lady at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Tiptonville with Bro. Steve Carr officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5 pm until 8pm Thursday at First Baptist Church, Tiptonville.

Survivors include four daughters, Linda Fears of New Market, Al., Jeannie Nelson of Tiptonville, Judy Quick of Hornbeak, and Lori Osteen of Martin; one sister, Lois Odle of Dresden; and two brothers, Harold Davison and Travis Davison Sr. of Finley; Six grandchildren, Susan Fears Swinford, Robert Calton, Cody Quick, Kellie Quick Stacks, Cass Mitchell, and Tyler Mitchell; and one great-grandchild, Noah Elizabeth Quick.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Brashier, a son, Kenneth Ray Brashier, and her parents, William Edgar and Lucy Davison.

Pallbearers will be Joe Davison, Marcus Davison, Travis Davison Jr., Lance Davison, Faron Collins, and Mike French.

Lawrence Raymond "Buddy" Heathcott, 71, of Friendship, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was a self-employed truck driver.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Bellevernon Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Heathcott of Friendship; five daughters, Deborah Heathcott York, Daphne Garrett (Bill), and Mitzi Young (Joe), all of Friendship, Patriece Leath (Larry) and Stephanie Brasfield, both of Alamo; three sisters, Mildred Austin (Vernon) and Patricia Thompson, both of Friendship, and Mary Lea White (Neal) of McEwen; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Joe Garrett, Jeff Strayhorn, Jody Moore, Ronnie Shaw, Andy Hammond, Matt Hooper and Clark Branch. Honorary pallbearers will be Alton VanDyke, Junior Jones, Junior Akins, Willis Warren, Don Lewis, Ronnie Joe Robertson, Adois Hammond, Jimmy Summerlin and Ricky Wilkerson.

A.J. Michael, 89, of Newbern, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was a member of Trimble United Methodist Church and a U.S. Navy veteran.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Michael and the Rev. John "Buck" Carroll officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens in Dyersburg.

The family will receive visitors from 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Jewell Michael of Newbern; two sons, Johnny Michael and wife, Gloria, of Newbern, and Phillio Michael and wife, Carol, of Nashville; a grandchild, Pam Sisk of Newbern; two step-grandchildren, Lacy Newton of Union City and Justin Wainscott of Syracuse, N.Y.; two great-grandchildren, Courtney Walker and Tiffany Walker; six step-great-grandchildren, Amada Sisk, Jacob Sisk, Brayden Newton, Ethan DanCleave, Case DanCleave and Parker Newton; and a great-great-grandchild, Gracie Ray.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Pope, Bruce Pope, Robert Pope, Ricky Whitson, Terry Parker and Greg Donaldson.

Mr. Quinton Eugene Riley, 63, of Dyersburg, TN died Thursday, February 04, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. He was a truck driver and attended Finley Baptist Church.

Services will be at 1:00p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2010 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Halliburton officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2010 at the funeral home.

Survivors include 2 daughter, Kim Gilbert (Daniel) of Dyersburg, TN, Mechelle Blakley (Rodney) of Ripley, TN, 1 son, Shawn Riley of California, 2 sisters, Emma Jean Franks of Murray, KY and Mary Jane Riley of Newbern, TN,1 brother, Ernest Lloyd Riley of Murray, KY. and 7 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 1 son, Jamie Riley, 2 brothers, John Thomas Kirk and James Hubert Riley and his parents Ward and Elizabeth Walton Riley.

Pallbearers will be Blake Quinn, Mason Benthal, Dylan White, Christopher Rose, Jere Robbins and Larry Shawver.

Algie Mat Shipley, 82, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

He was retired as a 47-year employee of Dyersburg Fabrics and a member of McCullough's Chapel Baptist Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Don Williams officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mildred Shipley of Dyersburg; two daughters, Deborah Joan Criswell and husband, Otho Red, and Angela Smith and husband, Kenneth, all of Ripley; three sons, Kenneth Shipley of Dyersburg, Dennis Shipley and wife, Shyann, of Germantown, and Jeffery Shipley of Covington; a sister, Mary Tinkle; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Minnie Shipley; a sister, Alli Mae Thurman; and four brothers, Clifton Ferguson, Paul Ferguson, V.B. Shipley and Edd Shipley.

Pallbearers will be Brian Shipley, Blake Shipley, Michael Davis, Jeremy Shipley, Tyler Shipley and Roger Shipley.
