Billy Alfred Burden, 77, of Ripley, formerly of Obion County, died March 1, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Lauderdale in Ripley.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with the Rev. Perry Grills officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery at Hornbeak.
Friends may call at the funeral home 4-7 p.m. today.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
He was born Oct. 14, 1932, in Matthews, Mo., son of the late Walter Burden and the late Grace (Howell) Burden Nichols. He married the former Willene Clark, who survives. He was a former contractor and a retired employee of the former Reelfoot Packing Co. in Union City. He had been employed there for 20 years. He was a Baptist.
Survivors also include his son, Billy Burden of Halls; two grandchildren, Jennifer Davis and Adam Burden, both of Dyersburg; three great-grandchildren, Anakin Davis, Adrian Davis and Peyton Burden, all of Dyersburg; two sisters, Betty Lou Willingham of Gadsden, Ala., and Christine Dunn of Tiptonville; and three brothers, Bobby Burden of Somerset, Ky., Eugene Nichols of Troy and Johnny Nichols of Alamo.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Laura June Moore; two sisters, Carol Brigham and Elaine Powell; and two brothers, Carl Burden and Jimmy Burden.

Joyce Marie Hollis, 66, of Dyersburg, died Monday, March 1, 2010 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was a homemaker and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.
The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Samuel Lee Hollis Sr. of Dyersburg; a daughter, Cindy Webb and husband, Kenneth, of Paris; a son, Sam Hollis Jr. and wife, Darlene, of Dyersburg; four grandchildren, Nikki Beavers and fiancée, David Cloar, Michael Beavers, Cody Hollis and Kari Beth Hollis, all of Dyersburg; and four great-grandchildren, August Haynes, Willow Cloar, Avery Cloar and Emmy Cloar, all of Dyersburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Thomas Capps and Marie Lowe Capps; and a brother, Rayburn "Rabbit" Capps.
Pallbearers will be Cody Hollis, David Cloar, Kenneth Webb, Larry Thompson, Terry Seaton, William Capps.

Jerry C. Horner, of Halls, died March 1, 2010.
He was born July 28, 2010 to John and Reba Horner of Dyersburg.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Halls Funeral Home. Burial will be in Halls Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Carolyn Buckner Horner of Halls; three daughters, Jerrie Gail Jackson of Halls, Tracie Canfield of Germantown and Debbie Smith of Jackson; two brothers, Toby Horner of Dyersburg and Bob Horner of Wilmington, NC; four grandchildren, P.J. Jackson III, Zackary Allen Kelley, Ryan Horner Smith and Hannah Elizabeth Kelley; a great-grandson, Carson Ray Jackson and another great-grandchild due in the Fall.; and many nieces and nephews.
