The conference - one of six across Tennessee - begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. It will be held in the Professional Development Center, 305 College St.
"Health Reform is Real & Happening: Putting the Pieces Together: Tennessee's Role in New Reform" promises to:
* Provide the latest on health reform and how reform will affect Tennessee.
* Describe how health care reform will affect individuals.
* Help individuals learn what they can do to encourage lawmakers to reform health care.
* Provide speakers, workshop and practical tools as well as lunch and snacks.
The registration fee is $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Scholarships are available on request.
