Gift baskets to be auctioned next week for Relay

The Security Bank Relay for Life team has assembled 10 themed gift baskets and plans to auction them off just in time for Easter.

A silent auction for the baskets will be held March 22-26 in the Dyersburg and Newbern bank branches. Call Megan Madden at 288-7375 to find out where each basket is located.

The basket themes include the following:

* Beach basket.

* The Ultimate Easter Basket.

* Picture Me basket.

* Home décor basket.

* Pamper Your Pooch basket.

* Home is Where the Heart Is basket.

* Mother's Day gift basket.

* Romantic weekend basket.

* Spa basket.

* Picnic basket.

In addition to the basket auction, the Security Bank team plans to hold a bake sale at 8:30 a.m. April 2 at the main bank branch on Mill Avenue. Cakes, pies, cookies and chocolate-covered strawberries are expected to be sold.

Proceeds from the silent auction and the bake sale will be given to the Dyer County Relay for Life, an American Cancer Society fund-raiser.
