Velma Mai Chadwick Addison, 86, of Dyersburg, died Friday, April 2, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker and a member of Harvest Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Scott Sewell officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 2:30-3:15 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her four daughters, Nancy Abbott and husband, Lawrence, of Nortonville, KY., Pauline L. Roberson and Debbie Oberst, both of Dyersburg, and Diana Pryjda and husband, Zbigniew, of Westerville, Ohio; a son, Gene Morris Hicks and wife, Mary, of Dyersburg; twenty grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Ray Hicks, and her parents, Albert Coleman and Lonnie Fox Chadwick.
Pallbearers will be Justin Lynn Atchison, Adam Edwards, Adam Ford, Larry Samford, Zbigniew Pryjda, and Stephen Pryjda.
William W. Riley, 83, of Paris, TN., formerly of Dyersburg, died Thursday, April 1, 2010 at the Veterans Hospital in Memphis.
He was a retired farmer and mechanic, and a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ronnie Turner officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 10-10:45 a.m. Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Betty W. Riley of Paris; a daughter, Cindy Ford and husband, Mark, of Mansfield; a son, Butch Riley of West Virginia; and two grandchildren, B.J. Kobel and Edward Kobel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Hattie Faulkner Riley; and a sister, Juanita Gean.
Pallbearers will be Terry Pruitt, Barry Pruitt, Clyde Riley, Paul Riley, M.D. Riley, and Speck Riley.
Mr. Clarence "Tom" White, 91, of Dyersburg, TN and Morro Bay, California died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Bayside Care Center in Morro Bay, California. He was a army veteran and attended Hawthorne Baptist Church when in Dyersburg.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 05, 2010 in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Brother Waymon Hogue officiating. Interment will follow in Yorkville Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 a.m. until service time Monday, April 5th at the funeral home.
Survivors include his sister-in-law, Margie White of Memphis and care-giver Betty Sue Ayotte of Morro Bay, CA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margrette Miller White, a brother Earl White and his parents, R. A. & Lyda Herrell White.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Phelan, Michael Desalvo, John Pollard, Braund White, Bernie Lewis, and J. B. White.
