Amaralynn Mitchell, 3-month-old infant daughter of Desirea Long and Rodney Lynn Mitchell Jr., of Dyersburg, died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at her residence.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dyersburg with Minister Mitchell Churchwell officiating. Cosmopolitan Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

In addition to her parents, other survivors include two sisters, Jamara Mitchell and Kamara Mitchell of Dyersburg; her grandparents: Vickie and Willie McElrath of Dyersburg, Rodney Mitchell Sr. and Mozella Mitchell Long, both of Covington; her great-grandparents, Richard and Audrey Nance and Betty Mitchell, all of Dyersburg; and her great great-grandfather, Kielbert Wyatt of Tiptonville.


Dorothy Biggs Isabell, 90, of Newbern, died Monday, April 19, 2010 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.

She was a retired employee of Morris Manufacturing and was a member of Tucker Street Church.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. today in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern with the Rev. Matthew George and the Rev. Loren Stephens officiating. Johnson-Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Isabell; her parents, Lother and Nezzie Lane Biggs; and a sister, Monie McCollum.

Pallbearers will be Michael McCord, P.G. Maners, Ronald Hansford, Roger Pease, Nick Reeves and Mike Morgan.

Mrs. Thelma Richards Permenter, 83, of Dyersburg, TN died Monday, April 19, 2010 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Facility. She was a homemaker.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 graveside at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg with Pastor Royce McGuire officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include four daughters, Glenda Webb, Marie James, and Joyce Atchison all of Dyersburg and Jeanie Babb of Union City; eight grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Permenter Sr.; one son, James Edward Permenter Jr.; one sister, Martha Simmons; and four brothers, Johnny Richards, Frank Richards, Harvey Richards, Wilson Richards, and Carl Richards.

Pallbearers will be Drew Babb, Devin Babb, Scott Canada, Christopher Canada, Jason Atchison, and Jimmy Atchison.
