William H. (Bill) Kelly Jr., 66, retired Episcopal priest, died Monday, April 19, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
He grew up in Dyers-burg and was a 1961 graduate of Dyers-burg High School. He also was a 1965 graduate of the University of Tennessee Knoxville and received a Master of Divinity from the University of the South at Sewanee in 1979. He was an avid reader and loved sailing, traveling and the congregations he served. He was also very proud of his Irish heritage.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Mixon Kelly, of Memphis; five sons, William H. (Beau) Kelly III of Avondale Estates GA, Pat Kelly of Birmingham, Matthew Kelly of Memphis, Baker Cunningham of Little Rock, and Cotter Cunningham of Austin, TX, and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his father, William H. (Bill) Kelly Sr. of Dyersburg, and his brother, Ed Kelly of Memphis.
He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Louise Hughes Kelly, and his sister, Virginia Kelly Viar, both of Dyersburg.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2010, on his 67th birthday at St. Mary's Episcopal Cathedral in Memphis, preceded by visitation at 10 a.m. at the church.

Amaralynn Mitchell, 3-month-old infant daughter of Desirea Long and Rodney Lynn Mitchell Jr., of Dyersburg, died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at her residence.
Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dyersburg with Minister Mitchell Churchwell officiating. Cosmopolitan Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
In addition to her parents, other survivors include two sisters, Jamara Mitchell and Kamara Mitchell of Dyersburg; her grandparents: Vickie and Willie McElrath and Angela Long of Dyersburg, Rodney Mitchell Sr. and Mozella Mitchell Long, both of Covington and LeRoy White of Kennett, Mo.; her great-grandparents, Richard and Audrey Nance and Betty Mitchell, all of Dyersburg; and her great great-grandfather, Kielbert Wyatt of Tiptonville.
