William Terry Jamison Jr., 88, of Tiptonville, died Monday, April 26, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
He was a retired farmer.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Tiptonville City Cemetery with the Rev. Marita Burkeen officiating. Johnson-Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Tiptonville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Phoebe Jamison McCain of Newbern and Joan Jamison Cochrum of Hixon; a son, William Terry Jamison III of Tiptonville; and four grandchildren, Peggy Lee McCain of Ridgely, Forrest Gregory McCain of Newbern, and William Patrick Jamison and Mia Juliana Jamison, both of Tiptonville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Donnell Jamison; her parents, William Terry Jamison Sr. and Tennessee Tipton Jamison; two sisters, Virginia Jamison Eleazer and Dorothy Jamison Mitchell; and a brother, Tippy Jamison.
Pallbearers will be Forrest Gregory McCain, Terry Eleazer, Terry Eleazer Jr., Ed Eleazer, Trent Patterson and Kent Patterson. Honorary pallbearers will be Norris Work, J. W. Stegall, Jimmy McKay, Ben Cardwell , Clyde Johnson, Clancy Wright, Anita Morris, Albert Markham, Buford Hopper, Hulon Warlick, Natalie Denton, Malcolm Lanier, Allen Shirley, Don Taylor, Dwight Gantt, Ed Patterson, Richard Roberson, Ryan Roberson and Charles Harris.
