Elizabeth Louise Puckett Dobbins, 92, of Obion, died Friday, June 25, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
Services were held at 3 p.m. Monday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion with Rich Knoll officiating. Burial was in Zion Cemetery in Obion.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Becky Dobbins of Dyersburg; a sister, Doris Dobbins of Obion; and a grandson, Mark Dobbins of San Antonio, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Dobbins; a son, Bobby Dobbins; and a granddaughter, Debbie Dobbins.
Pallbearers were Ed Cook, Ricky Via, Larry Albright, Rhett McIntosh, Gerald Simrell and Jimmy Rainey.
Bobby Gene Hanks, 79, of Dyersburg, died Friday, June 25, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired brick mason and a former member of the Masonic Lodge.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Chuck Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Florence Hanks of Dyersburg; a daughter, Dianne H. Bizzle and husband, Kerry, of Dyersburg; a son, Mike Hanks and friend, Rhonda Norman, of Paris; a sister, Betty Garner of Benton Harbor, Mich.; a brother, Fred Hanks of Dyersburg; and a grandchild, Chris Bizzle.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorraine Richardson and Imogene Jones; and two brothers, J.C. Hanks and Burnice Hanks.
Pallbearers will be Roland Criswell, James Davis, Roy Lynn Bizzle, Joe Sturdivant, Fred Hanks Jr. and Jerry Brewer.
Martha A. Kenton, 91, of Maury City, died Thursday, June 24, 2010.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 3 at Community COGIC in Maury City with Elder Bobby Kenton and Elder Carl Kenton officiating. Hudson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors at 9 a.m. Saturday Community COGIC.
Survivors include five daughters, Sylvia Caroline Kenton, Rebecca Sue Kenton, Mary Jane Kenton and Mattie Ruth Kenton; nine sons, Randy Paul Kenton, Bobby James Kenton, Stan Eugene Kenton, Johnny Frank Kenton, Jerry Russell Kenton, Carl Wayne Kenton, Woodrow Kenton, Walter Lee Kenton and Richard Moss; brothers and sisters Todd, Billy, Ray, Tony, Alma, Bobby, Margie, Flora and David Yancy; 65 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.
Margaret Ann Bizzle Preslar, 63, of Union City, formerly of Dyersburg, died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Obion County Nursing Home in Union City.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Walnut Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Southerland officiating. Johnson-Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie D. Preslar of Dyersburg; her mother, Eva King of Dyersburg; two brothers, Larry O. Bizzle of Obion and James L. Bizzle of Dyersburg.
She was preceded in death by her father, Oran Bizzle; and a brother, Gary E. Bizzle.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Bizzle, Jason Bizzle, Larry Gene Bizzle, Ben Bizzle, Jonathon Johnson and Jackie Krietman.
