Robert Allen Chandler, 63, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a chef a Dusty Joe's and a member of the National Guard for 18 years.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Friendship Funeral Home with the Rev. Stan Young officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Garden.
Survivors include two daughters, Stacey French and Amy Chandler, both of Dyersburg; a son, James "Rob" Chandler of Dyersburg; three brothers, Mike Chandler, Tommy Chandler and Jeff Chandler, all of Dyersburg; and four grandchildren, Tessa French, Jenna Chandler, Gracie Chandler and Jared Chandler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Henry Chandler and Vava Taft Chandler; a brother, Mark Chandler; and a grandson, Ashton Chandler.
Joann Boyd Glisson, 65, of Newbern, died Thursday, July 15, 2010 at her residence.
She was a retired employee of HIS in Tiptonville and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Turner and Betty Pugh officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Millner of Newbern; her mother, Eathel Seiber Boyd of Newbern; a sister, Carolyn Boyd of Newbern; two brothers, James Boyd of Newbern and Kenneth Boyd of Yorkville; and four grandchildren, Anna Glisson and Brycen Hopper, both of Ridgely, and Chelsea Millner and Justin Clark, both of Newbern.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Finis Glisson; three children, Karen Glisson, Jackey Glisson and Terry Glisson; and her father, Carl Boyd.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Boyd, Chad Boyd, Kevin Boyd, Timothy Boyd, Justin Clark and Mike Snow.
Maggie "Cindy" Lorene Wilson, age 83, passed away Monday, July 12, 2010 in Odessa.
She was born July 15, 1926 in Newbern, TN to John Nevins McKee and Verna Agnes Tase McKee. She moved to Texas in 1945. She married Mikuel Louis Wilson on April 15, 1945. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Odessa and taught Sunday School for many years. She also worked in the church nursery for 19 years. She loved her church activities and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include daughter, Jean and husband Leon Crum of Dyersburg, TN; son, James D. Wilson of Odessa; daughter, Vickie and husband Carroll Cox of Odessa; son-in-law, John Buchanan of Odessa; two brothers, Harold "Wimpy" McKee of Newbern, TN and Raymond McKee of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren, Sheila Aguilar, James M. Wilson, Clinton Cox, Coby Wilson, Haley Worsham and Kelli Cox Woodruff; and 11 great-grandchildren, Alex, James, Levi, Aumbree, Kayzsa, Amaris, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Chloe, Adrie and Avery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mikuel L. Wilson; her son SPC 5 Mickey L. Wilson; her daughter Sandra W. Buchanan; her parents, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.
Visitation with the family will be 9 a.m. until service time on Saturday, July 17, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern with Rev. Ronnie Turner officiating.

Mrs. Frances N. Veal, 79, of Erin, TN formerly of Dyersburg, TN died Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at The Gardens of Barry Road in Kansas City, MO. She was a homemaker and a Church of Christ in Cumberland City, TN member.
Services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, July 18, 2010 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Reverend Brian T. Veal officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The Veal family will receive visitors beginning at 12 Noon, Sunday, July 18th until service time at the funeral home.
Survivors include her 2 sons, Barry C. Veal of Kansas City, MO and Walter K. Veal of Paducah, KY, 1 sister, Doris Stephens of Dyersburg, TN, grandchildren, Darla Bachkora of West Memphis, AR, Bria Bentz of Christiansburg, VA, David Snow, Brant Veal and Kaleigh Veal of Paducah KY, Brian Veal of Moberly, MO and Amanda Veal of Agency, MO, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Veal, 1 son Danny R. Veal, and 2 brothers Terry D. Daniels and Jerry L. Daniels.
Pallbearers will be Adam Veal, Justin Daniels, Jacob Daniels, Joshua Daniels, Eric Seat and Jason Seat.
