Mandy Marie McGlaughlin, 75, of Dyersburg, died Monday, July 26, 2010 in Dyersburg.

She was a retired employee of Dyersburg Fabrics with over twenty years of service and a member of Second Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Johnnie Welch officiating.

The family will receive visitors from 2-2:45 p.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include a daughter, Shryel Harris of Dyersburg; a son, Steve McGlaughlin of Halls; two sisters, Ann Pruitt of Dyersburg and Emma Watkins of Dickson; two brothers, Tommy Gerald Kesterson and Ricky Lynn Kesterson, both of Dyersburg; and one grandchild, Kevin Neville and wife Erin of Bartlett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe McGlaughlin; her parents, Tom and Blanche Bailey Kesterson; and a brother, Don Kesterson.

Pallbearers will be Mike Kesterson, Tommy Kesterson, Kirk Kesterson, Mark Jones, Ray Windle and Charles Burton.


Gladys Alexander Andrews McKeel, 89, of Tiptonville died Monday, July 26, 2010 at The Highlands of Dyersburg. She was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church of Tiptonville. She was for many years, president of the United Methodist Women, member of the Church Council, in charge of the church kitchen and flower committee, taught Sunday School, and worked with the youth in MYF. She was a member of Tiptonville Main Street, Friends of the Library, and worked for years as hostess of the American Legion building for Arts and Crafts Fair.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville with Rev. Marita Burkeen officiating. Interment will follow in Tiptonville City Cemetery in Tiptonville. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The McKeel family will receive visitors Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 11 a.m. until service time at the church.

Survivors include one daughter, Lynne Andrews Ayers of Tiptonville; one son, Andy Andrews and wife Cheryl of Brentwood, Tn.; six grandchildren, Chris (Kelly) Ayers of Oakridge, David (Whitney) Ayers of Tiptonville, Shannon (Ashley) Ayers of Evansville, In., Blair Andrews (Kevin) Fix of Atlanta, Ga., Jeff (Erin) Andrews of Brentwood, Tn., and Alex Andrews of Nashville, Tn., and four Great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husbands Frank Andrews and Allen McKeel; two infant children; parents, Ryce and Anita Peacock Alexander; and a sister Martha Bryant.

Pallbearers will be Michael Moore, W. C. Haynes, Tommy Lovell, Skipper Pierce, Terry Jamison, Larry McCain, Cliff Berry, Jack Haynes, and David Mooring.

The family requests that memorials be directed to Tiptonville First United Methodist Church or Reelfoot Rural Ministries.

Elvin Arnette Miller, 66, of Springville, formerly of Trimble, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at his residence.

He was master mechanic and welder for Patterson and Wilder Construction in Pelham, Ala. for 15 years and a member of International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE).

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris with Jimmy Allison and Randy Stephens officiating. Ridgeway Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Wanda Faye Morgan Miller of Springville; a daughter, Kim M. Parker of Kenton; two sons, Elvin Bryan (Beckie) Miller of Trimble and Don Arnette Miller of Austin, Texas; two sisters, Peggy Bennett and Judy Cook, both of Trimble; four grandchildren, Leslie and Brittany Parker and Brandy and Jessica Miller; and a great-grandchild, Brayden Parker.

He was preceded in death by his father, Don Miller; his mother, Mary Karnese Davis; a sister; and three brothers.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Thomas, David Ring, Jerry Ring, Jimmy Adams, James Webb and Tommy Scarbrough. Honorary pallbearers will be Nelson Thomas and Harvey McGuork.
