Clearchus "Bobby" Byars Sr., of Dyersburg, formerly of Brownsville, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery in Ripley. Thompson's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors at 6-8 p.m. Friday at Salter's Chapel A.M.E. Church.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Byars of Dyersburg; five daughters, Janet M. Byars and Madeline Byars Hess (Clint), of Dyersburg, Brenda J. Byars of Memphis, Tonya D. Byars of Atlanta, Ga. and Sheila Byars Fields (Gary) of Omaha, Neb.; three sons, Barry L. Byars (Michelle) of Dyersburg, Robert P. Byars of Murfreesboro and Clearchus Bobby Byars Jr. of Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Mattie Bland (Oliver) of Milwaukee, Wis., Tonya Ferguson and Anissa Ferguson, both of Kansas City, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Leland Byars and Roselle Byars.
Tammy Sykes Heathcott, 42, of Lenox, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was an aide on the special education bus for the Dyer County School System and a member of Lenox Baptist Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Stafford and the Rev. Kelly Lock officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Scotty L. Heathcott of Lenox; a daughter, Destinei Heathcott of Lenox; two sons, Derek Hinson and Kyle Hinson, both of Lenox; her mother, Dema Sykes of Lenox; a sister, Mandy Kidd and husband, Bruce, of Humboldt; and two brothers, Kenny Sykes of Lenox and Marty Sykes and wife, Jerri Anne, of Millsfield.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wilburn Sykes.
Pallbearers will be Joe Peevyhouse, Casey King, Tony Epperson, James Alexander, Tony Kirk and Steve Sartin.

Kathryn Watson Hendrix, 90, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at her residence.
She was retired from the fabric department of Wal-Mart of Dyersburg, where she was employed for 36 years and a member of Parrish Chapel Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughter, Ann Leach of Dyersburg; one brother, Lloyd Watson of Memphis; four grandchildren, Kellie Fisher and Kim Hassos, both of St. Louis, MO., Lisa Wells of Camdenton, MO. and Michael Hendrix of Newbern; fifteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Hendrix; one daughter, Nell Fisher; one son, James Hendrix; her parents, Alcie and Pearl Frizzell Watson; one grandchild, Robin Hammond; one sister; and three brothers.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Luebbers, Rick Hendrix, Andy Cox, Lloyd Koonce, Dempsey Greene and Charles Dunn.
Jewell Fawn Lovlace, 83, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at her residence.
She was a Farmer, a member of Miller's Chapel Church of Christ for over 65 years; she was a homemaker, birdwatcher, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Miller's Chapel Church of Christ. Burial will be at Miller's Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her three sons, Barry M. Gore and wife, Carol, of Chattanooga, Dr. John E. Gore and wife, Mary, of Franklin and Neal Lovlace and wife, Jean, of Centerville; a sister, Toy Ann Hicks of Moberly, MO.; four grandchildren, Leah Gore Hatley and husband, Richard, Daniel M. Gore, Trevor Gore and Clay Lovlace; two great-grandchildren, Lyla Fawn Hatley and Graham Hatley; and a host of nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends at Miller's Chapel Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Francis Elmo Gore and Clayton O. Lovlace; and her parents, Cecil and Dorothy Hill Taylor.
Pallbearers will be Barry Gore, John Gore, Neal Lovlace, Trevor Gore, Dan Gore and Clay Lovlace.
