Patricia Carter Autry, 62, of Newbern, died Monday, Aug. 30, 2010 at her residence.

She was a retired employee of Jimmy Dean Foods.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Scherffius officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.

The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Gene Autry of Newbern; two daughters, Patty O'Dell and husband, Chris, of Troy and Jill Hopgood and husband, Glenn, of Dyersburg; a sister, Kathy Weaver and husband, Jimmy, of Newbern; five brothers, Jerry Carter and wife, Frances, of Paris, Clayton Carter and wife, Judy, of Newbern, Wayne Carter and wife, Linda, of Dyersburg, Dennis Carter of Puryear and Steve Carter and wife, Mercy, of Murfreesboro; and six grandchildren, Scotty O' Dell, Dakota O'Dell, Tyler O'Dell, Bryan O'Dell, Ryan Hopgood and Dylan Hopgood.

Pallbearers will be Tyler O'Dell, Kevin Weaver, Evan Romo, Larry Autry, Jeremy Autry and Gerald Autry. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryan O'Dell and Dakota O'Dell.

William Lynn Bruce, 58, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010 at Gibson General Hospital in Trenton.

He was a salesman for National Federation of Independent Business Owners, a U.S. Army veteran, member of the Kansas City Barbecue Society, Illinois Barbecue Society, Young Republicans and a representative of National Write Your Congressman.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters, Christy Linconfelt (Carlton) of Star City, Ark., and Kimberly Wark (Randy) of Bangor, ME; a son, Jason Bruce of Pocomoke City, MD.; his father, Ralph Bruce of Dyersburg; a sister, Maxine Snell (Larry) of Eads; and three grandchildren, Kayleigh Linconfelt, Michael Linconfelt and Lily Bruce.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Bruce; his mother, Edna Bruce; and a brother, Jerry Bruce.

Wayne Allen Mallard, 82, of Newbern, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.

He was a retired employee of State of Tennessee Highway Department and a member of Center United Methodist Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Tilley officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery in Elbridge.

The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Burneda Hicks Mallard of Newbern; a daughter, Anita Gail Thomas and husband, Stan, of Newbern; a son, Michael Wayne Mallard and wife, Pam, of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; a sister, Sherrye Gayle Hobbs and husband, Bill, of Dyersburg; three grandchildren, Kristi Getson and husband, Scott, of California, MD, David Scott Thomas and wife, Nicky, of Newbern and Shanna Mallard DeMoss and husband, Andy, of St. Mary's, Ga.; and seven great-grandchildren, Evan Thomas, Ty Thomas, Matt Getson, Luke Getson, Braxton DeMoss, Hallie DeMoss and Brayden DeMoss.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Annabell Williams Harris; his step-father, Rev. Sam Harris and his father, James Franklin Mallard.

Pallbearers will be Tim Williams, Jay Williams, Drew Williams, Kyle Williams, Phillip Williams and Jim Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Carpenter, Ronald Carpenter, Jim Nelson Williams, Crannie Webb, G. B. Holder, Don Forrester, Don Hilliard, Orlan Heathcott, Billy Joe Kee, James Hendrix and Robert Blevins.

Morris Horton Yates, 79, of Trimble, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was a retired employee of Plumbers & Pipefitters Local #572 in Nashville and a U.S. Army veteran.

Services were at 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Burial was in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Obion.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Ring Yates of Trimble; two daughters: Cathy York of Portland and Patricia Gaye Repass of Wythville, West Va.; three sons, Morris Taylor Yates of Kenton, David Yates of Mt. Juliet and Richard Yates of Mason Hall; two sisters, Clodine Jordan of Searcy, Ark. and Ruby Pruitt of Cookeville; a brother, B. T. Yates of Kenton; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Lynn Yates ; and his parents, Datha Cantrell Yates and Ballie Taylor Yates.

Pallbearers were Bubba Marbrey, David Ring, Jerry Ring, Anthony Ring, Zach Marbrey and Ronnie Wyrick. Honorary pallbearers were Dewayne Biggers, Aubrey Davis and Larry McKinney.

Funeral services for Dorothy Juanita Sadler, 77, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Living Word Church of God, Hwy 82 E. Bonham, Texas. Pastor Brian K. Rayburn and Rev. David Brackett will officiate. Burial will follow in Randolph-Lindsey Cemetery. Juanita passed away Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010 at Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas.

Juanita was born September 9, 1932 in Dyer County, Tennessee, to Willie and Blanche Welch Barker. They preceded her in death, as well as her sister Mildred Tinkler. She married Jerry Sadler September 7, 1964 in Alabama. They were blessed with 46 years of a wonderful marriage. Juanita enjoyed being a homemaker. Her hobbies included crafts, traveling, music, animals, beautiful flowers and family gatherings.

Juanita is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Sadler of Bonham, Texas; son Sammy Sadler and wife, Margaret of Bonham, Texas; daughters Donna Sadler of Gun Barrel City, Texas and Detra Turner Carnley and husband David of San Antonio, Texas, sister Mary Alice Mitchell of Memphis, Tennessee, grandchild Carissa Bowles of Commerce; family pet Cola as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Tennessee and Texas.

Pallbearers will be Gary Monk, Robert Moody, Joseph Moody, Troy Sadler, Raymond Cartwright, and Tyler Cartwright. Honorary Pallbearer will be Galen Hartman.
