Bring your family and dress up for this year's Newbern Depot Days. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday with awards given to the winners of different categories.
The ever-popular Newbern Depot Days will take place this Saturday in downtown Newbern.

This year, the event will feature a day filled with a 5K race, crafts, games, entertainment and a parade. It will all conclude with a concert by the legendary country music singer T.G. Sheppard.

Sheppard, from Humboldt, had numerous Top 10 releases throughout his career and hits like "Fooled Around and Fell In Love", "Strong Heart", and "One For The Money". Other classics include, "Last Cheater's Waltz", "I'll Be Coming Back for More" and "Do You Wanna Go to Heaven".

Warming up the crowd before Sheppard takes the stage will be the Empty Pockets Band that frequently plays around the area.
