Dyersburg High School band members Sam Webb, Alyssa Wells and Devin Cannamore keep the rhythm as the DHS Golden Trojan Marching Band performs in the West Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association's Marching Festival in Jackson. In the performance on Saturday, Sept. 25, the DHS group earned Superior ratings in guard, percussion, drum major and band.

The color guard and percussion groups earned first place in the small division category in the Crusader Marching Invitational in Jackson on Saturday, Sept. 25.
On Saturday, Sept. 25, band members participated in the West Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association's Marching Festival and the Crusader Marching Invitational in Jackson.
In the festival, the DHS band earned Superior ratings in guard, percussion, drum major and band.
In the invitational, the Trojans received first place in the small division for its guard and percussion groups and second place in its class for the band. There were 15 bands competing in DHS's division.
The DHS band placed third in the overall standings of both small- and large-division bands.
Upcoming competitions include the UTM Skyhawk Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 2 and the West Tennessee Small Band Championship at Trenton on Saturday, Oct.16.
