Edward Odelle Barnes, 76, of Ridgely, died Monday, October 4, 2010 at The Bridge At Ridgely.

He was a retired carpenter with Ford Motor Company, where he worked for 45 years, member of Abundant Life Fellowship in Ridgely and was a wood craftsman.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. David Gray officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his three daughters, Carra Lynn Bouchard of Oklahoma, Robyn Lynn Smith of Ridgely and Ashley Anne Barnes of Tiptonville; a son, Thomas Edward Barnes of California; two sisters, Modean Talkington of Ridgely and Cindi Beymer of Arizona; two brothers, James "Dezzie" Barnes of Ridgely and Jody Barnes of Niles, MI; and six grandchildren, William Bouchard, Bonnie Bouchard, Hayden Smith, Tyler Smith, Haylee Smith and Hannah Blackburn.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gracie Richardson Barnes; and his parents, Lenard and Mable Traughber Barnes.

Pallbearers will be Larry Anquetil, Jim Brandau, Jimmy Brandau, Mark Stabenaw, Chris Beymer and O.V. Fowler, Jr.


William C. Henson, 74, of Michie, TN died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. He was a retired employee of HB Fuller Adhesives in Memphis, TN. Mr. Henson was an Elder at Stantonville Church of Christ and a former Elder at Gragg/Stage Road Church of Christ in Memphis where he was a resident for over 35 years.

Services will be at 11:00 am Friday in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Brother Larry Redmond, Brother Glen Burse and Brother Larry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The Henson family will receive visitors Thursday evening, October 7 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Christine "Tene" Henson of Michie, TN, 2 daughters, Vicky Thomason and husband Jim and Devona Shirley and husband Mike of Ramer, TN, 2 sisters Wilma Smith and husband Larry of Hornbeak, TN, Brenda Mason and husband Kenneth of Covington, TN, 3 brothers, Kelly Henson and wife Bonnie of Covington, Herbert Henson and wife Sequoia of Bartlett, TN, Tony Henson and wife Sue of Hornbeak, TN, 6 grandchildren, James Thomason, Ashley Gray, Rhonda Bellah, Justin Shirley, Clay Shirley and Alyssa Shirley and 5 great-grandchildren, Aspen Gray, Mallorie Gray, Ian Gray, William Taylor Thomason and Callie Bellah.

He was preceded in death by his parents Woodrow Wilson and Darris Estes Henson.

Pallbearers will be Kelly Henson, Larry Smith, Herbert Henson, Tony Henson, Larry Russell, George Puckett, Tom Weems, Glen Burse and Kenneth Mason.

Mrs. Mavis Foster Hubble, 69, of Dyersburg, TN died Wednesday, October 06, 2010 at her daughter's residence in Dyersburg. She was a member of The Sanctuary Church.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 08, 2010 in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Ronald Lovins and Bro. John Morris officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors Thursday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Buffington of Dyersburg and Kim Hampton of Jackson, Tn; one son, Joy "Joe" Hubble II of Dyersburg; one brother, Cleo (Joe) Foster of Greensboro, Ga.; eight Grandchildren and eight Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joy Hubble; her parents, Theo and Bessie Swindle Foster; two sisters, Elizabeth Hisaw and Mary Lou Burgo; and two brothers, Alton Foster and George Foster.

Pallbearers will be Josh Buffington, Casey Kennedy, Brad Smith, William Fields, Robert Jones, and Jim Davis.

Bro. Ernest A. "Sonny" Pirofalo, died Tuesday, October 05, 2010 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Evansville Free Holiness Church will host a funeral service on Friday evening at 7 p.m. at the church in the Evansville Community with Bro. Mac Daniels officiating.

The family will receive visitors Thursday and Friday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Evansville Free Holiness Church.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Jean Pirofalo; two daughters, Theresa (Jim) Voss of Bridgeview, Ill, and Marjorie Ann (Onesimo) Gomez of Plano, Ill; two sons, Ernest R. (Sandy) Pirofalo of Plano, Ill, and Victor Gary Pirofalo of Burbank, Ill.; one sister, Frances Leo of Chicago, Ill.; one brother, Jerry Pirofalo of Chicago, Ill.; nine Grandchildren, Ernie Ray Pirofalo, Norman James Pirofalo, Candy Lynn Bell, Angel Marie Pirofalo, Victor Anthony Pirofalo, Amanda Faye Gould, Venessa Jean Gomez, Jessica Marie Gomez, and Savannah Lee Gomez; and nine Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Helen Pirofalo and his parents Ernest and Helen Typtanar Pirofalo Sr.
