Clara Dell Campbell, 65, of Ripley, formerly of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010 at Jackson General Hospital.
A memorial will be held Saturday, Oct. 9 at Independent Free Holiness Church of Upper Finley Road at 2 p.m. Pastor Calvin Smith will be officiating.
Survivors include her husband of 23 years, William (Gene) Campbell; three sons, Richard (Minnie) Cox, Jimmy Cox and Chris Cox, all of Dyersburg; three daughters, Teresa (Rocky) Persino, Angie (Charlie) Baker and Stacey (Tony) Webb, all of Dyersburg; and three stepdaughters, Shelia Ray of Ripley, Vickie Campbell of Ripley and Mandy Henson of Gates; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Ida Weeks, and a grandson.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association.
Mrs. Doris Stevens McCuan, 94, of Dyersburg, TN died October 5, 2010 at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church.
Services will be at 11:00 am Friday at Holy Angels Catholic Church conducted by Father Russ Harbrough. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The McCuan family will receive visitors beginning at 10:00am Friday morning at the church.
Survivors include a sister, Rosanna S. Brogan of Memphis, TN and a brother, Floyd Stevens of Bartlett, TN and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Leroy Milner "Piggy" McCuan, 1 daughter, Jean McCuan, 3 brothers, B.V. Stevens, Jr., Garland A. Stevens and Garrell L. Stevens and her parents Barnabas Ventress and Rosanna Mary Aucoin Stevens.
The McCuan family requests memorials be directed to Holy Angels Catholic Church, 535 Tucker Street, Dyersburg, TN 38024.
