Mr. Robert Carlisle, 77, of Dyersburg, TN died Saturday, October 23, 2010 at The Bridge of Ridgely. He was retired from Colonial Rubber Works.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2010 in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Lynn Drumright officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, October 28, from 5 until 8 p.m.
Survivors include four daughters, Brandy Carlisle, Diane Carlisle, Teresa Whitworth, and Ann Anderson all of Dyersburg; a son, Ray Carlisle of Dyersburg; a brother James "Pat" Carlisle of Dyersburg, nine Grandchildren and eighteen Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Carlisle; a son, James Lee Carlisle; a brother, Ira Carlisle and his parents.

Jeff Ricky Kindle, 62, passed away on Saturday morning, Oct. 23, 2010 at Emery Hospital, Atlanta, Ga. He attended Andrew Chapel Methodist Church in Jonesboro, Ga., was a graduate of Bruce High School in Dyersburg, graduated from Lane College in Jackson, Tenn., was a 30-year Army officer, retired as lieutenant colonel, was a Scout master in Newman, Ga., and was a special-education teacher in the Newman School System.
Services will be at noon Saturday, Oct. 30 at Andrew Chapel Methodist Church in Jonesboro, Ga.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Siveline Kindle of Newman, Ga.; his mother, Ella L. Kindle of Newbern; four sons, Matthews J. Kindle of Newman, Ga., Demetric M. Kindle of Detroit, Mich., Ramone T. Kindle of Louisiana, and Demetric Kindle of Milwaukee, Wis.; a daughter, Rachel M. Kindle of Newman, Ga.; three brothers, R.B. (Dorthy) Kindle of Detroit, Mich., Tommy J. (Eva) Kindle of Newbern, Donny R. (Diane) Kindle of Seattle, Wash.; three sisters, Louise K. (Bennie) Greene, Frances A. (Edward) Mims and Serle (Lacy) Mims, all of Newbern; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Kindle, and his grandparents Benny and Willie L. Sharp.
Dardis L. Robbins Rice, 77, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010 in Springfield, Tenn., at her son's residence.
She was a retired employee of Lever Brothers in Whiting, Ind. Mrs. Rice attended Fort Hudson Baptist Church, was an avid golfer, a member of the Schererville Ladies Golf Association in Schererville, Ind., a member of the Curtis Creek Country Club in Rennselear, Ind., where she shot a hole-in-one on Sept. 28, 1996 on Hole No. 7 (105 yards), was a member of Lake Tansi Couples League in Crossville, Tenn., member of Lever Brothers Retiree Club, 1950 Graduate of Dyersburg High School where she was a member of the Dyersburg High School girls basketball team, and was a regular visitor to the residents at Dyersburg Manor where she entertained and socialized with the residents.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Layman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.
The family will receive visitors Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Rice Linde and husband, Jeff, of Dyersburg; a son, Craig Rice and wife, Marica, of Springfield; a sister, Susie Dyer of Griffith, Ind.; a brother, Steve Robbins of Griffith, Ind.; five grandchildren, Tommie Royal and wife, Cassandra, of Chebanse, Ill., Desire Adams and husband, Jason, of Glasgow, Ky., Victoria Ellis and husband, Logan, of Etoile, Ky., Jennifer Rice and Brandon Rice, both of Springfield; five great-grandchildren, Brianna Adams, Justin Adams and Jordan Adams, all of Glasgow, Ky., Kenneth Royal and Remi-Jo Royal, both of Chebanse, Ill.; her favorite Niece Lou Ann Kronland of Griffith, Ind., and many more nieces and nephews along with her dearest sister-in-laws and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Edgar H. Rice; her parents, Fonzie and Clarice Childress Robbins; and two brothers, Ray Robbins and Rex Robbins.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Linde, Craig Rice, Tommie Royal, Logan Ellis, Michael Kronland and Steve Robbins. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
