Mr. Shelton N. Lane, 74, of Villa Rica, Ga., formerly of the Lane Community near Dyersburg, died Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica, Ga.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Rev. James Combs officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, December 1 from 11a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Lane of Villa Rica, Ga.; three daughters, Teresa (Mike) Smith, Kathy (Jack) Ward), and Tammy Lynn Gosa, all of Villa Rica, Ga.; two sons, Robert J. Lane of Tacoma, Wa., and Bobby (Paula) Zeuner of Witchita, Ks.; seven grandchildren, Summer Murad of Atlanta, Ga., Ronnie Gill of Houston, Tx., Mike Gill, Jeremiah Ward, and Joshua Ward all of California, Elizabeth Shannon Gosa and Ethan Ryan, both of Villa Rica, Ga.; and two great-grandchildren, Andrew Ward of Villa Rica, Ga. and Callie Gill of Houston, Tx.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lester and Fannie Jo Burrow Lane.
Pallbearers will be Robert Lane, Bobby Zeuner, Jack Ward, Mike Smith, Robert Hoffman, and Billy Lane.

James Ward Smith, 81, of Friendship, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2010 at Alamo Nursing Home & Rehab.
He was a farmer and landowner and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, where he served as a former deacon and song leader.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Warner officiating. Burial will be in Zion Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at Friendship Funeral Home.
Survivors include two daughters, Harriet Cannon (Lenard) of Covington and Valerie Hutchison (Terry) of Alamo; two sons, James Ellis Smith (Cindy) and Tommy Smith (Karen), both of Friendship; a sister, Alice Williams of Friendship and Phillip Smith of Rosemark; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Prichard Smith; and his parents, James B. Smith and Iva Ward Smith.
Pallbearers will be Grant Smith, Matthew Smith, Jon Michael Cannon, Don Smith, Bill Williams, Terry Hutchison and Lenard Cannon.
Joseph Edward Wyatt Jr., 65, of Millington, died Nov. 27, 2010.
He was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Millington chapel of Munford Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at 12 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Wyatt; two daughter, JoLaine Hammons (Richard) and Ellen Cottle (Jim) of Atoka; four sisters, Helen McCann of Loma Linda, Calif., Letitia McAllister of Huntsville, Ala., Phyllis McElyea of Bartlett and Marci Emery of Marion, Ill.; a brother, Tim Wyatt of Millington; and three granddaughters, Jena, Sara and Kaylee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph E. Wyatt Sr. and Helen Wyatt.
Doris J. Zgama, 82, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 at Highlands of Dyersburg Nursing Center.
