Holly Marie Butler 70, of Ridgely, died Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in Dyersburg. Holly was a loving Mother and friend to many people. She never met a stranger. Holly was an inspirational person and touched the lives of not only her family but all of her friends and neighbors.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Dyersburg with Father Charles A. Bauer, MD officiating, and assisted by Father Robert Stellini. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors Thursday December 16, 2010 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home in Ridgely.

Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Crawford of Union City, Tina Butler of Ridgely, and Samantha Butler of Dyersburg; three sons, Jimmy Butler and William George Butler II both of Ridgely, and Stephen Butler of Newbern; and a sister Georgia Miller of Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Windy" Butler and her parents Edwin and Ellen Gangluff.

Lucille Carroll, 81, of Finley, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Oakwood Community Living Center in Dyersburg. She was a Baptist.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday December 17, 2010 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors Thursday, December 16, 2010 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Alice Walker of Dyersburg, Ann (Joe) Smith of Richwoods, and Vickie (Jeff) Bradley of Newbern; two sons, Robert Daniel (Jewel) Carroll of Dyersburg and James Allen (Janice) Carroll of Richwoods; one sister, Betty Cox of Dyersburg; 10 Grandchilren, and 20 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carroll; one son, Paul Edward Carroll; three sisters and two brothers.

Pallbearers will be Chad Smith, Chuck Smith, Billy Goad, Jackie Goad, Billy Carroll, and Michael Hicks.

Mrs. Frances Marie Hampton, 79, of Jackson, TN, formerly of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. While living in Dyersburg, she was a member of First Baptist Church and attended West Jackson Baptist after moving to Jackson.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2010 in the Dyersburg Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Raymond Boston officiating. A private family interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday.

Survivors include two daughters Taina (Dr. Tom) Edwards and Krista (Randy) O'Daniel of Jackson, Tn.; one son, Roger Allen Hampton (Kathy) of Chattanooga; 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Myrtle Walding Evans; two sisters, Ann Flowers and Christine Poole; and one brother, Charles Evans.

Margaret F. Meadows, 88, of Unionville, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Nathe Ozment officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Roy Leon Meadows of Unionville; two sons, Roy Glynn Meadows and partner, Jane Brymer, of Newtown, Connecticut and Roger Meadows and wife, Tina, of Unionville; two grandchildren, Molly Escue and husband, Larry and Alan Meadows and wife, Jami, all of Unionville; and three great-grandchildren, Emily Escue, Bailey Escue and Kate Meadows.

She was preceded in death by two infant children, her parents, Robert and Eileen Cook Webb; and two brothers, Ralph A. Webb and Glynn E. Webb.

Pallbearers will be Alan Meadows, Larry Escue, Stan Welch, Jeff Hogue, Lance Davison and Jeff Brewer.


Beauton Holland, 85, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.
