Geraldine Adkins, 75, of Columbia, formerly of Newbern, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011 at NHC in Columbia.
She was a former employee of the Developmental Skills Center in Dyersburg.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Criswell, the Rev. James Combs and the Rev. Joey Biache officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.
The family will receive visitors from 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include four daughters, Cathy Cole of Columbia, Tenn., Owetta Call (Tommy) of Collierville, Nika Simpson (Del) of Dyersburg, and Leslie Morphis of Murfreesboro; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Joe Adkins; her parents, Brown and Winnie Bell Dowland Churchwell; and a sister, Ronna Morphis.
Pallbearers will be Joey Biache, Brian Biache, David Morphis, Joe Morphis, Adam Green, Anthony Green, Kelly Reasons, Elizabeth Biache and Jennifer Call.

Danny Lynn Davis, 63, of Dyersburg, died Monday, January 10, 2011 at his residence.
He was a retired employee of Dyersburg Fabrics, U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, where he received Bronze Star and The Air Medal and Army Commendation Medal.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Mac Davis officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his son, Jason Davis and wife, Amanda, of Cape Girardeau, MO.; a sister, Nancy Davis Phillips of Dyersburg; a brother, Andy Davis and wife, Lisa, of Dyersburg; and a grandchild, Jaxon Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Sue Beasley Davis.
Sue Walton Williams, 77, of Newbern, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011 at the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, Ala.
She was a homemaker and a former employee of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home, attended Emmaus Baptist Church, but was a member of Mount Tirzah Baptist Church and a member of The Red Hats.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. James Hooper officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.
Survivors include two sons, Tim E. Williams (Shelia) and Jay W. Williams (Kristi), of Newbern; a sister, Rebecca Butler of Beuna Vista; four brothers, Reed Walton of Trimble, Joe Walton of Pawley's Island, SC, Wilber Walton of Newbern and Wes Walton of Obion; and a grandson, Conner Walton Williams of Newbern; and two step grandchildren, Blake Holden and Alec Jackson, both of Newbern.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Earl Williams; her parents, Maud Frazier Walton and Ernest Walton; two sisters, Elizabeth Wilson and Louise Walton; and a brother, Ernest "Preacher" Walton.
Pallbearers will be Reed Walton Jr., Mickey Butler, Bill Walton, Joe Welch, Michael Walton, Marvin Wilson and Brad Walton.
