Billy R. Cozart, 77, of Newbern, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011 at his residence.
He was a retired nurse extender for Methodist Hospital of Dyersburg and member of Fair Havens Church of Christ.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Rogers and Mr. Russell Cozart officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.
The family will receive visitors from 4:30-7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Sue Sharp Cozart of Newbern; three daughters, Sheila Tucker of Memphis, Shevonne Ramsey and husband, Tim, and Linda Hardin and husband, Mike, all of Newbern; a son, Russell Cozart and wife, Laneta, of Newbern; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Earl Cozart.
Pallbearers will be Gary Clements, Terry Clements, Ronnie Wyrick, Bruce Tibbs, David Hamblin and Billy Sharp. Honorary pallbearers will be James Edwards and Tommy Fagan.
