Mr. Ben "Buck" Covey, 69, of Dyersburg, TN died Friday, March 11, 2011 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson.
Services will be Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Curry Funeral Home in Dyersburg with Bro. Terry Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery near the Elbridge Community. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors on Monday, March 14, 2011 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Pruitt Covey of Obion; two sons, Billy Gene Covey of Obion, Tn. and Jimmy Dale Covey also of Obion; one sister, Virgie Rushin of Martin, Tn.; two brothers, Cy Covey and wife Sue of Dyersburg and Horace Covey of Dyersburg; two grandchildren, Chelsea Covey and Savannah Covey of Dyersburg; and a "to be" great-grandchild he had already named "Squirt".
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben "Doc" and Hettie Crouson Covey; and two sisters, Viola Phelan and Helen Pugh.
Pallbearers will be Mark Roberson, David Cooper, Jim Nichols, Scott Nichols, Byron Stover, and Blake Oliver. Honorary pallbearer will be Tony Pruitt.

William Quintard Glass Jr., 75, of Memphis, Tennessee, died Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Mr. Glass was a Ret. Captain in the United States Marine Corps and Facilities Management Specialist at Housing & Urban Development.
Graveside services will at 3:00 PM Sunday at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Robert L. Van Doren Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Ceci Gulledge-Glass of Memphis, Tennessee; a daughter, Elizabeth Henderson of Texas; a son, William Glass of Memphis, Tennessee; a brother, John D. Glass of Memphis, Tennessee, three grandchildren, Spencer Glass, Charles Henderson and Margaret Henderson; one step-grandchild, Perry Glass.
Mr. Glass was preceded in death by his parents William Quintard Glass Sr. and Ann Haskins Whitson Glass.

Bertha Jones, born on December 22, 1953, passed away on March 10, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She leaves behind her husband, Raymond Jones of Dyersburg, Tn. Her two sons, Charles Avery and Jarvis Jones along with one daughter Sherry Johnson all of Dyersburg, Tn. Three sisters, Mary Gross of Tiptonville, Tn., Janice Avery of Nashville, Tn. and Shirley Fords of Pontiac, Michigan. Two brothers, Joe Moten of Fort Worth, Texas and John T. Moten of Pontiac, Michigan.
She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Lakarian Hart, Jamaya Avery, Amari Avery, and Ariya Avery all of Dyersburg, Tn.
She was preceded in death by her parents Levi and Genette Moten, and one sister, Jennifer Moten.
Sarah Walch, age 91, died at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, Fla. on March 10, 2011. She was born on November 28, 1919 in Newbern, TN, the daughter of Oscar Burrell and Lou Delota Oliver. A homemaker and active quilter she lived in the Hawthorne, Fla. area for the past thirty plus years. She was a member of Saint Philip Neri Catholic Church in Hawthorne.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Frank Walch; a sister, Louise Gatlin of Newbern, TN; two daughters, Mary Lou Acosta of Pasadena, CA, and Kathleen E. Turner of Concord, NC, and a son, Frank J. Walch and wife Judy of Gainesville, FL; grandchildren Mary Leona Walch, Frank Walch and Joseph Yanover and wife Gigi; great grandchildren, Joseph Yanover, Nicole Yanover, Kelly Yanover and James Yanover.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 13, 2011 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Hawthorne, 301 South at Lake Avenue, with the rosary being recited at 4:00 p.m.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Fannie Wyatt; his father, Kelly Wyatt; and a sister, Maggie M Haynes.
