Ronnie "Bo" Gardner, 50, of Ridgely, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011 in Ridgely.
He was a former factory supervisor for World Color Press and a member of Willingham Memorial Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cottonwood Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Adams and Bro. Clayton Mahan officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors starting at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the church.
Survivors include his daughter, Courtney Baker and husband, Jeremy, of Newbern; two sons, Ronnie Keith Gardner II and Cody Steven Gardner, both of Ridgely; his mother, Joy Strain Gardner of Ridgely; two sisters, Debbie Roberson and husband, W.C. and Pam Stewart and husband, Charles, all of Ridgely; a brother, Randy Steven Gardner of Ridgely; three grandchildren, Kaden Baker, Kaleigh Baker and Kolten Baker; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dwayne Gardner.
Pallbearers will be Wilburn Smith, Teddy Scott, John Neil, Jaxon Neil, Scotty Johnson, Scott Price and Jeremy Tatum.
Sonny Marbry, 80, of Rutherford, died Friday, March 11, 2011 at Gibson General Hospital.
He was a mechanic.
Graveside services were held Sunday, March 13 in Rutherford City Cemetery with Bro. James Roach officiating. Leitherland Funeral Home of Rutherford was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Clark of Lexington, Debbie Marbry of Rutherford and Gail Calvin of Dyersburg; four sons, Danny Marbry and Gary Marbry, both of Rutherford, John Allen of Garrett, Ky., and Johnny Marbry of Trenton; and 17 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myra Sue Marbry; a daughter, Rosy Frazier; two sons, Larry Marbry and Rusty Marbry; his parents, Tommy and Loula Jones; and two brothers, James Marbry and Max Marbry.
Jacqueline "Jackie" McPherson Taylor, 53, of Dyersburg, died Monday, March 14, 2011 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Cosmopolitan Funeral Services is in charge arrangements. Visitations will be held Monday, March 21, 2011 from 10 a.m. until time of service at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Dyersburg. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Kenneth Taylor officiating. Burial will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery, Dyersburg. Survivors include her father, LC McPherson, Dyersburg; stepmother, Louise McPherson, Dyersburg; three sisters, Cynthia McPherson, Julie Light, Jennifer Boyd all of Dyersburg; three brothers, Clearence Carthen, Murfreesboro, TN, Minister Bobby Matthews and Kenneth Matthews of Dyersburg. A.W. "Avery" Roddy, 86, of Newbern, died Monday, March 14, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was the retired owner of Newbern Feed & Farm Supply and a retired truck driver, a member of Seventh-day Adventist Church of Dyersburg and a U.S. Navy veteran.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. David VanWyk and the Rev. Matthew Lucio officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery in Elbridge.
The family will receive visitors Saturday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie Strader (Bob) of Orange City, Fla.; a son, Harold Roddy (Deborah) of Lane; a brother, Eugene Roddy of Lane; four grandchildren, Tammy Hey, Leslile Marbrey, Matthew Roddy and Brian Strader; eight great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennie Madeline Mojkowski Roddy; his parents, A.W. Roddy Sr. and Bonnie Wade Roddy; a sister, Maurine Lippard; and two brothers, James Roddy and Harold Roddy.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Erickson, Kirk Krueger, Chip Warren, Ritchie Cherry, Roddy Scarbrough and Brian Strader.
